Cant send my condolences now since there is no source to this sad news.

He seem to be a nice man, but the freedom fighting stuff is what i don't get.
He couldn't be fighting for freedom while he dined, wined and did some kinds of contracts with the south east governors in the 3rd and 4th republics.
Whichever way, just be sure this is not one of those "Gani is dead" threads.

Was really shocked when i heard he was dead today.Didn't believe it at first. He was a strong supporter of MKO Abiola.I think he supported OBJ too.
He died in the US.Went into a coma and never came out. That man really contributed to the Nigerian music industry.Helped a few artistes like Onyeka Onwenu get started.May his soul rest in peace Sad

What a loss! May God grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

I hope the rampaging South Africans will remember that Okosun also contributed his little quota in seeing that apartheid was dethroned in South Africa

Met him one-on-one in 2006 at the international airport in Ikeja in 2006. He was looking so pale and fragile though. Such a great loss.

May God grant his soul eternal rest.

Thieving  nicompoops should be the ones roasting into extinction and dying like chickens in OJUELEGBA MARKET

The likes of OBJ, IBORI, YARADUA, TAFA BALOGUN, LAMIDI ADEDIBU, OKIRO, EHINDERO, LUCKY IGBINEDION, GRANGE, YERIMA, IYABO, KENNY MARTINS, ANENIH, MUHAMMADU ALI, AUDU ABUBAKAR, BABANGIDA, KALU, ALAMS, DARIYE, AKALA, SARAKI and overy other persons that have looted, stole, greedily obtained and benefitted from dubious and corrupt Government over the years at the expense of the average suffering Nigerian Citizen

When this heartless looters die, they shouldnt be mourned but cursed in death whilst rejoicing that some heartless scum of the earth have finally been ridden of this world!

And may they BBQ-ED, grill and choke slowly inside blazing and ferocious hot hell fire with SATAN

RIP OKOSUN, the same GOATHEADS THAT SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AFTER YOU HAVE FAILED AGAIN AS USUAL
