you know you guys are really going to disappoint me if it turns out that the news is another fake rumour as people had always done about Sunny Okosuns in the past. he's one of the guys most rumoured dead in nigeria.Gani fawehinmi is back in the country and the fiery old lawyer declared on a personal note that he has lung cancer, that declaration took another human right dimension when the old guy frantically challenged yaradua to come to the press to tell nigerians what is wrong with him too, because it is the right of nigerians to know. if sunny okosun is truly dead it would have been one of those things! even you sef, when was the last time you checked your B.P, have you done your blood glucose level before? do you know kidney status, do you even know your blood group? omo, all of us are just a junk of praying mantis- hoping no evil will happen to us.nobody wan die but we wan go heaven. okada is another thing that is killing people faster than AIDS.so!prepare one day, o son of nigeria! to meet your creator!

Sony Okosuns is really dead.see Punch Newspaper 26th May, 2008, page 10.
He was a muscian whose music had an ideological bent called ' Ozzidism', which meant emancipation of Africans from all kinds of colonial and oppresive entanglement and this served as a rallying point for all freedom fighters in the days of Apartheid in South Africa.
Our present day up and coming muscians should emulate Okosuns by churning out songs to inspire the youths to aspire to greatness or seek to achieve positive social transformation (thumbs down to songs like 'kolomental' ; big ups to songs like 'Holla eyee').
Sonny Okosuns, Rest in Peace.

Thieving nicompoops should be the ones roasting into extinction and dying like chickens in OJUELEGBA MARKET
The likes of OBJ, IBORI, YARADUA, TAFA BALOGUN, LAMIDI ADEDIBU, OKIRO, EHINDERO, LUCKY IGBINEDION, GRANGE, YERIMA, IYABO, KENNY MARTINS, ANENIH, MUHAMMADU ALI, AUDU ABUBAKAR, BABANGIDA, KALU, ALAMS, DARIYE, AKALA, SARAKI and overy other persons that have looted, stole, greedily obtained and benefitted from dubious and corrupt Government over the years at the expense of the average suffering Nigerian Citizen
When this heartless looters die, they shouldnt be mourned but cursed in death whilst rejoicing that some heartless scum of the earth have finally been ridden of this world!
And may they BBQ-ED, grill and choke slowly inside blazing and ferocious hot hell fire with SATAN
RIP OKOSUN, the same GOATHEADS THAT SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AFTER YOU HAVE FAILED AGAIN AS USUAL Very well, we'll send these names to the Al-qaeda group plannin to unleash bombs so they know exactly their targets. We just have to get rid of the caucus in Nigerian politics otherwise those saying there's hope for the country are only talking about hope for the future generation and no this present one. R.I.P

Which way Nigeria?, (which way?) x2 Which way to go (Which to go?) I love my father land I want to know, (I want to know) Which way nigeria? Which way nigeria to go?
I was like 10 years old when they used to play this Hero's song many years back on NTA, and for reasons I don't know,i would just start crying each time i watch it.
Maybe thats part of what ignited the patroitic fire i have for Africa and Nigeria.
Adieu my Hero.
