Fellow nairalanders,  have anyone noticed that some lower-grade wap enabled phones and some of these chinese MP4 phones browses for free using the @ trick. This may mean that if someone would use them as a modem he's gonna browse freely too, if only he does it right.

@engr,
It's normal,it does happen at times. Just set your stuffs back and continue browsing.
Or uninstall the application and install it back,but this time. Make sure u use your credit to agree with opera licence,before you configure the MTN trick. Undecided Undecided
since i did division of labour,my op206 for zain and op310 for Mtn.

Is memory card a determinant of your download speed?I think so!My average download rate on my original Nokia 128mb MC is 5kbps but when I bought a Kingston 512mb MC,the highest download speed I can dream of is 2.5kbps on it.I notice this when i am downloading a content  into the MCs.Has anyone experienced this too?

@honsule, its not what you think, download speed depends on the server you using. if you still doubt me, go to a Cyber cafe with your lappy and connect it to their server n try download,  (anoda option) wake up 4 midnite n try download, the download speed attimes increase to 16kb/s on my em em es.

Wen downloadin, different factors are considered, d server speed, processor speed of d phone or lappy, and amount of traffic at d time., the Mmc may also be affectin download we cant say,

@KEVDIESEL: As for d opera on n3110c; u'll go to sharemobile.ro wit your desktop browser or laptop connected to internet check for mtn proxy prov and download it, then send it to d fone via bluetooth; u'll recieve it as a congfiguration setting, save it and activate it as default to all application(note: d cong.  settings wld not support any item). Den go to d network settings on d opera, where u see d opera server proxy add d mtn trick like mtnloaded or 10.199.212.8@ d server proxy; save it n u'r gud to go. Gud luck!
