The laptop was placed in a cool place after removing the power battery. But forgot to remove the system battery which the owner don’t know. Later when he took it out after 6 months it’s casing all cracked, when opened inside the LCD was leaking all over the place. All the trouble were caused by the system battery. So take care of your laptop and tell to your friends too.
that laptop is at least 10 years old anyhow - see the intel pentium logo? not pentium 2, !!! - pentium. plus - look at the keys. their almost normal keyboard size. can't see the manufacturer's logo anywhere. . .
if the story is true, its prolly because it's an old system.\ withbatteries that are probaly no longer allowed by regulations
it is good advise to remove your battery iof u are not going to use your laptop for over a week, because the battery can completely discharge. once this happens it will never work well again. this applies to all rechargeable items and batteies. disconnevct if u arent going to use over time
