At this rate the car go fit turn to jeep of over 10M!!!! Grin

But really guys, why do you want to force sometihing on a young man like Seun.

If you really feel like doing something then why don't you ask him for his account details and send him money instead. After youguy buy him that fantastic car, how is he going to keep it running?? Does he even want to need a car?? Are you sure that a power bike might not be exactly what he wants??? Grin

So my sugestion to all wellwishers is that you guys give him the money directly, and let him decide how to spend it.

If he uses it to carry babes, that na him own Grin Grin Grin ;

If he use am to buy moto for him folks, then better still. Who wears the shoes knows where it pinches. Cool

are you serious?

this is  not productive.

instead of that, why not ask for donations so that nairaland can go to 'Nigeria stock market' or why not raise Equity Investor Tool so we can all invest in it and this nairaland can grow bigger?

Once Nigerian mechanics touch the 'car' - with their dirty fingers; thats begining of the end of such cars, plus it looses value rapidily.

fotodaddy:

We can put a cap of N3million on the pledges. If pledges reach that amount then we forward the funds to Seun.

So far we have:

Tolaniluv      N400,000
nkc               N100,000
Jenju           N300,000

Total           ========
                    N800,000
                   ========

Donations are strictly voluntary. Inspired_men will coordinate naija funds and I'll do funds from the USA.

I nominate you and inspired_men to coordinate getting funds raised in naija to Seun.  If there is no ceiling, this thing fit turn to N10miilion na, it was a good point you raised to this effect earlier. Seun will maintain the car of course, it will be his car -  Unless he rejects the fund raising offer.

I agree with you, let's get it together, present it to him and let him do what he pleases with it.  Where are the remaining nairalanders?  Lets show our appreciation, N1000 should not hurt that much.

Let the donations flow in.

i think thats d best thing, seun should give us his contact details and bank details, we have to be sure its our mean seun oh, when i have confirmed its him, we will send d money to him, if he wants the raw cash or if he chooses a car from one of d dealers, its all his choice now, car or cash. so anyone who feels ok, can send him some money, let him do as he please's with it. i think that is better

I am so impressed about the attitude of the administrator we have on here.Without much thoughts ,at least something needs to be done to appreciate him.However, i wont subscribe to the idea of contributing money into the hands of some that are using the instrument of nairaland to prosper their businesses to buy whatever it is that seun needs .Whoever wishes to send him something should connect him directly .History is replete with stories of embezzlement .They collect the money and divert it to their private pockets.NO POLITICS HERE please!!!!!!!This forum is owned by just one person and that person happens to be seun.NO STUPID COMMITTEES!!!!!The administrator knows whats best to do. Angry Angry
Thank you .

Good idea. But is seun's silence golden here? Or is he busy on location doing some films?

Seun, please kindly speak up. Just drop your account number here and that will do the deal. No too much talk. At least posting your bank details here will be an indication that you will appreciate this effort. I am ready to send in mine as well.

Gosh, guys!  Shocked
You're all treating Seun like he's a charity case!
And you actually expect him to come on here, and sanction your actions?  Undecided
People do have pride, I think Seun's no exception.

As for him "dropping" his bank details on an internet forum, (even his own) never heard of such a crazy idea!  Huh
Would you post your account number, account name, banking institution and sort code on the net?  Undecided

I don't mean to come across as rude, but this is from folk who are sceptical about posting even their pictures online!  Lips sealed
Get real. This isn't the way to help anyone.
If I was Seun, I'D be cringing.
