I can't really blame the poster, she must have seen something rather out of order. Consider what goes on here, Atheism is not a religion
because its a state of non-belief. It has no faith in any God, hence why allow to bother our "faith" (a synonym for "religion").
Can you imagine? fornication is now to be debated on if a sin or not. In what way is that edifying? I noticed that many serious believers are
now avoiding the religion aspect of nairaland or what is the essence of bothering yourself in a discussion that will damp your spirit.

Nairaland is categorically not a christian site. It accommodates diverse opinions from diverse people regardless of religion.

This section of the forum has nothing explicit. In the sexuality section however, you may have seen some offensive discussions and/or pictures. The rules concerning this have been clearly spelt out. If anyone breaches these rules, it is the responsibility of the administrator and the moderator to take swift appropriate action.

If anything offends you personally, you have the free will to choose not to view it.

You are actually free to shoot or NOT to shoot.

But, whichever way you go, you MUST FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.

My point being that the fear of bad consequences a.k.a sanctions restricts our behaviour; others simply ignore the sanctions, disbelieve them or believe they can get away with them illegally.

Godly in what sense. If you go to the religious section you might be able to choose a discussion thread that you may deem godly and then you might go on a sexuality thread and consider it rather ungodly.

In other words, this site is both godly AND ungodly.

On a more serious note.

Human existence is inter-twined with evil.
And it seems as if evil has its role in the scheme of things.

And this we have to live with.

@ everybody

Thanks for the response, my point is clear!! if he rules says something then it should be kept.if it says don't paste xrated pictures, then it should not be psted, Nairaland is not registered as an xrated website so the rules must be to the extent of its Rating, (Non porn site)!! so the point is not seeing something and not readig it,the point it that thing shoul not be there in the first place because the rules said so!!
