@ Region, Ogefere & other prospective student, For u to get more info about this sch, I suggest one of u shld travel down to effurun or make another thread on this forum & Ask people living in delta state to help u get info about d sch. If Fupre wan do P.UME, na here all of u go dey till dey finish am. You better inquire about d sch ASAP. Last yr, I think their post UME was around Sept or Oct. But am sure it'll be conducted earlier this yr than last yr.

When will fupre have a website for christ sake? Or are they planning to publish in news papper again. what if na only electroguru read d papper that day. Na be say e don red for us o!. Well am a Delta state indigen too. Like Ogefure. Nd i av called to confirm about the engineering course stuff nd post ume porposed date. Bt haven't gotten any good response!. Bt i still relax sha. because RUSH- HOUR. Would start from D month of August.

Even though they' ll not be offering an engineering program this semester, That does not mean u can't still change your course because they knew they were at fault for publishing the programme they wont commence in the brochure.
But all the schools in Nigeria has their contact address and phone num printed in the brochure. I think one of you should call the num and make an enquiry, At least na only 20 naira per min for almost everywhere in nigizze

@ alwaysvik, Am neither reducing the amount of applicant nor increasing it. Am just here to help the applicants out. Am not a prospective student either because am currently in FUTA. please don't quote me wrong, am not dicouraging anyone here. About the date, I can rele remember the date but I remember the month which is April when I was on vacation. So i can't give you the exact date. Sorry for that. I'll suggest maybe if u get the info from the school, then u'll know that am not kidding

 @ all engineering applicant, I got GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS for you, The good news is I now remember the approx date I read the News papper which is on the 6th of April 2008   The Bad news is I don't remember the actual news Papper I found d the advert that day because I usu read more than 5 different kind of news papper in a day, Am so sorry for that all of you, Assuming if am at home, I will help you get it but am in school right now. So I can't get the papper here, From Lagos to Akure, No be small distance All of you, please No Vex

sorry once again, I have confirmed the date from my phone, I sent a text msg to my pal that choose the school , The actual and thge real date is 06/05/2008,

Go read the 3 most Widely Read News pappers in Nigeria for that date, I assure you that U'll find it there. Examples are Vanguard, Sun e.t.c { please don't check daily times and Punch because I didnt read them throught that Month I was around in lagos

Indeed what electroguru said was correct, FUPRE is not doing engnr courses this session. Only computer engnr would be done. So if u applied for comp eng. U need not change ur course. Bt if u are in for other engnr courses. Then u are in the boat. N:B:- the change of course form has already closed. I suppose the school will make up for their mistake

@elect, hw many people were able to change their course? If every prospective canditate should apply for science courses how many can the school accommodate, besides they are just starting. Even if i had the chance again i won't change my course.

Yea, dey don't care about that. Even though u all applied for science courses, they'll pick d best ones among d applicants & send d rest away. So sha, that one na ur own. Dey no send anybody because na Fed sch & its d cheapest so far compared 2 state & private. So people must surely apply

To all fupre prospective student, fupre is yet to fix a date for D p-ume xam. I also put fupre as my first nd second choice. Marine and mech eng respectively. Bt as soon as d Date comes up i would update u guys

don't bother uself too much guys. In d Nigerian Uni sys, its not compulsory 4 them 2 give u d course of ur choice, u can still be given anyother course. All u need is money & u must get mouth & do sure runz,
