You took the time to look at everything and all you can say is "where i got my templates from"? and for one site? And then you base you entire conclusion on that? That isn't very smart. The least you could do is add proof that it is a template. For the record the site was a clone requested by the client. I wouldn't have given any attention to your half baked opinion and ego laden stupidity if it weren't in my self interest to defend myself. To ask such a question is an insult on my creativity and i will not take it in silence. So if i may ask: what about june12? Disciple Ministries? Or Webjade? Surely you must have the prerequisite IQ to know that these are original artworks(and yes, disciple ministries is a variation of reed).What about my flash works? I'm quite disappointed you didn't look into these. I'm sure you have more spare time than good judgment to be looking for where i copied these from, no? There are more productive ways at benefiting from a forum than the stagnating "do you know you i am" mentality that plagues the webmaster section. As far as i am concerned, your opinions hold no water as a LIAR fronting as a designer with no portfolio, considering the design on your site is not yours. yet you act is if it where. Isn't that supposed to the arguement? That i use templates? Kreative Garden blog is found and designed by Dayo Akinkuowo, who also runs Kreative Garden Studio Design Info: WP Theme and Icons by yichi (footer information)Count the cost of your actions. I've checked your website ( http://dayoakinkuowo.com/dm/), which is a blog with a theme by SOMEONE ELSE. Mine is a exponent CMS with a custom theme built from SCRATCH. In case i need to explain any further - You WON'T find it anywhere else. I believe that's the whole point of design - it's about being unique - unless the client decides otherwise. Quite honestly, when are you going to post your portfolio on your own site? The link wasn't working. As much as i don't care, surely any man with a brain should have valid reasons before he makes a statement. That's what separates the wheat from the chaff. My Work isn't the best, but more importantly, it's me - a quality which you lack.

, which is why you should go calling people "black" when you're same There are better ways to give feedback (positive or negative) than basing you opinion on something that is invalid. Note: credits are usually at the bottom of every page. How does this tally with your earlier post on the site? Kreative Garden blog is found and designed by Dayo Akinkuowo, who also runs Kreative Garden Studio Webcopy is an essential part of webdesign. I suggest you change that. Not everything on the net is the product of a template. I hope that's clear to you now. Ciao!

@webmonk,
There is no need responding to A2J with such a long response (sorry for the redundancy):
1) What is a template? It is the first page that you code that lays the foundation for the other pages on your site. In other words, unless you intend to have each page be different (something I highly discourage), all pages will look the same based on this first page (headers, footers, navigation areas, etc)
2) If you got it from somewhere else, who cares? The web allows it by its very nature. What I do is google for what the competition is doing, check out the first 20 or so results and incorporate all that is good on my sites and throw away what i don't like. In the end, we all get motivation from somewhere.
@A2J I believe webmonk was asking for a critique and not for anyone to prove that his websites are or aren't templates. If you want to start a debate, I have no qualms with that but that doesn't belong here. Perhaps you can start another thread like say, "Post your work and let us prove that it is or isn't a template".

@Webmonk men good jobs u've done on those sites i love the simplicity of ur design.
mine suggestion is just that the pics on reed ministry are foreign i think we should all add photography to whatever we do? (except if it is a foreign ministry) Keep it up! @A2J what is web templates? because i don't think with over 5 million webdesigners in the world their is bound to be clash of ideas And if u have not been using templates 4 ur work how do u know it is a template

@A2J Nice observation, logically, it means you can't come up with something close to that, but just because you are not creative doesn't mean others are not.
