It's not a Brit's only list, but it's sure got loads of Britishers in it. Band Aid 20 song was a charity song made by most UK singers to aid the poor people in Africa during Christmas. The Peter Kay's song 'Armarillo' is another charity song for cancer patients.

But don't tell me you don't know Shaggy and his It Wasn't Me

Not only Shaggy, Kylie as well is not a Brit.

I guess I meant best selling songs in Britain, rather than best selling brits.

Nah, that can't be a world wide list
Methinks, it's a list made from the UK charts, as in like a UK Billboard
It's showing the sales of singles(from all over the world) in the UK

I know for sure that 'Toxic' by Britney sold 5.3 mill
'Apologise' has sold 3mil and still counting
What of 'In Da Club'?
That list is just a top ten for the UK market not for the whole world Wink

thriller sold about 140million copies & is not in that list. It is the 25th anniversary edition that is not selling

@toladop,

thriller was 20th century, not 21st.

Anyhow, I think doyin13's right about 'selling in Britain'^^
