MAN vs Machine
« on: June 03, 2008, 02:41 AM »

I am a hobbyist, fanatic, student of Robotics but I always go back to being a human.

In the recent years,we have seen how technology is improving, its favourable effects and disadvantages. We have seen Robots like ASIMO by HONDA and lots of other developments in every area of technology.

I have read lots and lots of SCI-FI books in the past and now they are already existing in our time.

Trully most people are hard working but come to think the dream of Robotics Engineers are to create a Humanoid that will compete with humans in any activity of life.

Most people may not notice but it is already happening. You hear companies cutting down staffs to cut cost of payments of salaries. May be 10% of adult world's populations has no job.

Don't forget that there already Robots roaming around battel ground, Multifunctional devices are lieingĀ  all over.

Don't get me wrong, I am not kicking against technology.

If we can create a perfect Humanoid, what would the humans be doing then?

What would you be doing?

NOTE: I am not a critic
