What Are Friends For?

What is there to explain? I've made myself perfectly clear. I expect loyalty and acceptance from my friends, and I supply the same.  You need to give my type a trial before concluding that friends are meant to be jerks.

I think friends are dere 2 support each oda, through good times and bad. I've got 9 real good friends, that i would do anything for, nd i can safely say d same. And before u think we vent been tested, we have nd we alwayz managed 2 survive.

Friendship is about trusting and sharing. You trust your friends with menia secrets and huge secrets, u share your loves, hobbies, interest and adorations.

So you have the hots for me?  Splendid. 

as a matter of fact what or who give you such a crazy idea  if i could get to u seun i would  u upset me big time  i should be able to control my emotions, i am a counselor for gods sake but you rub me up the wrong way, i feel  challenge by you and believe me no one HAS EVER DONE THAT TO ME  ABOUT I HAVE THE HOTS FOR HIM IMAGINE THE CHEEK OF IT. HA

Hm. Interesting topic.

Amongst other things, a friend for me is:

- someone who will take a deep interest in my hopes, fears and dreams. They'll want to know what I've been up to, what I'm up to now and what I plan to be up to. They'll make a concerted attempt to understand how my mind works, and won't judge and condemn me without hearing me out first.

- someone who will support me all the way in my endeavours once they have satisfied themselves in their own mind that I'm doing won't hurt myself or themselves. They'll support me by encouraging me when I'm doing something difficult, cheering me up when I'm feeling down and providing material support where necessary.

- someone who will speak up if they believe I'm doing or saying something that's not in my best interest. However, their respect for me means that they will tell me in a way that doesn't gratuitously hurt my feelings. When they're deciding that my action/speech is not in my best interest, they will take into account my goals and desires, not theirs.

But crucially, a friend is someone who makes me want to be a friend to them in the ways I've described above.

I had friends growing up, and even went to school with some of them.  All of them turned out to be the most fakest people I had ever met in my life.  I let every last one of them go.  Now I focus more on my future than making new friends.  But even at my age now, I don't feel the need to hang with anyone.  I do just fine solo.  But I also have a family I love, so not having friends does not bother me at all. 

Some people need friends to feel whole, some like having friends around, and some like being alone.  To each his/her own.

Friends are so much its at times unexplainable but a friend is person who will always b at your side no matter what happens

A friend is someone who will always be there when everyone else fails


Friends are like stars, you can't always see them but you know that they're there.

Friendship is not how long you've been together. It isn't how much you've given or recieved; nor how many times you've helped each other, but it's how you value one another

well its alot based on firendship and they must learn how 2 forgive and forget when they get into fights
