Putting Google Adsense On Customised Blog(wordpress)

I am trying to implement google adsense on my site www.naijabrains.com and its not displaying the Ad's. i use to have www.igbenga.wordpress.com and it never allowed me to put google code so i switched to www.gbenga.blog.com and it allowed me to post the code with all ease. I know that Gbenga sesan (www.gbengasesan.com/blog) and kazey (www.kayodemuyibi.com) uses wordpress as a host. does anyone have an idea of how i can implement this so that i can display google code on my site?
