Rastafarianism
« on: June 10, 2008, 09:17 AM »

Rastas believe in God(jah) but also believe in the deity of haille sellasie which distinguishes them from Christianity and an opportunity to see God and heaven. What exactly did Ethiopian Selassie do to get that honour? Besides, for those that practice that religion here, if Haille Selassie is a god, why is Ethiopia his homeland one of the poorest nation in the world plagued by famine?

We also have many gods in sub-saharan Africa: osun, ogun, sango, amadioha, etc etc etc

But one European explorer described Africa as "a theatre of the blackest ignorance and crime, where brutal slave dealers and tyrannical chiefs held sway over the suffering millions in dire need of civilization"

So, why did our many gods allow us to have such a nasty image???

beleiving  in God does not say that you are inspired from God manifestation  even Demons and lucifer became satan beleive in God but not inspired from his manifestation   Africa Got diference  prophets  anouncing that everyone of this prophet  got revelation from God   and each one got diferent belief or conviction  and Got Honor too from men  but  through their act and behaviour you can describe which one is false or true  to give  honour to a prophet this is   foolish men conception  Do you think this rastafarian with king selassie as prophet  is inspired from God  ? becarefull  Satan is also a god
