Have Your Parents Ever Embarrass You?
« on: June 11, 2008, 12:01 AM »

my step dad one time embarrass me. i was so mad that i cry.

here is the story,

back in 2004, Me and My Kenyan  friend Elizabeth went to her church for youth group on Saturday. after church we were going to watch a movie at my house. We walk to the front door. I realized at the moment i didn't have my house key. so i knock on the door. My step daddy upset that i did it, open the door and started screaming at my face in Liberian Creole. He was screaming so bad that knowing that i couldn't hit him, i went in the bathroom and started crying because i was mad/angry and frustrated. In the mean time while i was in the bathroom, he was still yelling in the living room and i could here it through the door and Liz was right there standing up. I told my mother, with my eyes red with tears to tell Liz to go home. I was so mad at my step dad that i ignore him for 3 weeks.

anyway, me and Liz are still friends. She actually laughed at me about the whole situation. She said that her dad does the same things that my step daddy do.

after all that talking, we came to a conclusion that all African dads are the same. They love you to do what they say and are all very hot tempered.

what is your embarrasing moments which your parents are the one to blame. Or if you are a parent, have you ever embarrass your child?

don't ever let your parents meet your boyfriend without warning him. All my mother talk about is abstinence. That is why i never bring a boy over to my house even if we were friends.

I think this has nothing to do with where the parents are from

Parents were put on this earth to embarrass their kids in one form or the other  Sad

As a mom, that's what she's meant to do i.e. preach! Grin

On her not believing you, well, you could tell her to have a doctor do a test on you!! Undecided

hmmm, lets just say she caught me watching porn a few times. Which she has problem with. so now, my mother put parental control on everything R-Rated. Plus, a friend of mine got pregnant a few years ago.

all of those reasons and a few more she believe her belove daughter is having sex. I don't blame her but she needs to quit.

I knew what mum is capable of doing,so I always sneeked her into my room and one day she was in and mum sent me out and I forgot to lock my room.before I got back she was in my room with the girl and she was like let the ground swallowed her up.She came to me and was like oh u had  a visitor and u are not letting me know, she said this sarcastically  and I  asked what she wanted in my room and the hell was let loose.

She screamed at me and slapped me and the girl ran the race of her life through the back door I never knew she can run so fast considering the overloaded back side   Grin

was so embarrassing but we made fun out of it when we met later
