another thing is some of this men coerce this girls. an example is a case of those kids who hawk food for their parents. in the pretence of paying them these men lure them and rape them. its really hurtful and this abuse is not addressed because this men when caught only apologise and thats it. its really painful. i wish the laws were tougher. i feel for young kids who are harrased and women who go through this.its sad

Yes they do.
Our customs had codes of ethics designed into them to protect women from such barbaric and unsocial behaviors. It demanded that when a man violated a woman's rights, sexually or not, that man is banished to exile and his family name is blacklisted.
Today our cultural traditions and customs is what it is because we have lived and cohabited with people whose ancestors did not see anything wrong in violating other human beings, whether it is sex or enslavement, or colonialism. We have swept aside our customs and adopted theirs.
