Indecent dressing: Breasts-exposing youth corpers barred from Ekiti gov’s office Dapo Falade, Ado-Ekiti Sunday, June 15, 2008 To arrest the increasing wave of indecent dressing among ladies in the society, three ladies currently on the Natonal Youth Service Corps (NYSC) progra mme in Ekiti State received the greatest shocks of their lives during the week as two of them were barred from entering the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti over indecent dressing. The ladies in question were at the Govern or’s Office to visit one of their mates who was serving in the complex, but as one of them held the door knob, the security men on guard noticed the mode of dressing of two of them which left them almost half dressed as their breasts were visible enough for people to see. Having identified themselves and their mission, the security operatives warned them severely not to come to the premises in such dresses that deme- an womanhood, more so to the seat of power of the state. The ladies were transfixed as they felt disgraced before the prying eyes of passersby, especially men, who slowed down to catch a glimpse of their chests. Walking away like a bird drenched by storm, the ladies were later seen off to the parking lot by their friend, who, in comparison to her embarrassed friends, was decently dressed. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/jun/15/611.html

A good development. Hopefully this kind of treatment to indecent-dressed ladies will be extended to all other public places e.g banks, eateries, etc

@RedHOTChic What do you called indecent or seductive dressind in public places? Huh No be sexual harassment be that? Cool Sexual harassment? So guys that walk around in Nigeria bare chested like the carpenters at work or truck pushers that usually take off their shirts should be banned too because they are sexually harassing our women? Truth is we have more important things to do than chasing women around. It's those governors and other top officials that will still give the girls dates behind their wives.

And you think that banning cleavages is not only a development but another way of checking the masculine promiscuity? Must women be victims of men's indiscretion? What is the connection between a woman's freedom of choice and an adulterous man? They better ban guys wearing tight pants and those ones that come out in their verandah wearing boxers.

maturity is an age at which people know the good from bad. the idea of forcing people to a particular way of dressing is not the problem of nigeria at the moment. since there is no power supply in the country, the breast exposure syndrom could serve as a relief to aggreved men who cannot watch tv at will. please ladies go ahead and expose whatever u can as long as they have nafdac nos. no shaken.

Only irresponsible and stupid girls will dress to show their boobs in the Nigerian society. If you learnt to openly display your boobs in western society, must you impose that on the Nigerian society? Besides, if you intend to do so you should do it where there are no frowns upon it. By all means show me your boobs and I will look but I will never advise anyone known to me to take you seriously in life matters

This is really good and hilarious. i was lauughing like no man business. Any woman who wanted to parade themselves on street is welcome to do so but at least don't go round to ministries and governors office to cause distractions. If they want they can wear any skimpy dress for eveining outing, weekend clubbing or whatever they choose but not in an office enviroment. Those women are up to something mischevious. You don't have to parade your boobs to chat up any man or ask them out or 'seduced' them. You can go and show your free movies at Allen avenue.

What about women breast feeding their babies openly in Nigerian parks and markets, will they ban that one too or are they not displaying the same mammary glands?

how many men (do u know) go to work bare chested? Bus conductors, carpenters, brick layers etc mostly work bare chested and they are the ones that usually have natural 6 packs due to their line of work.

so r u suggesting that they turn u on? r u saying u'D give them a chance? Whether I'll give them a chance or not has nothing to do with the fact that their actions constitute nudity and sexual harassment too and should be addressed accordingly.
