Well, with the route it's taking I can only hope somewhere another biggie smalls or tupac has been born to revive it. I fear that when the greats retire there'll be no one to bring back the integrity it once had. It's being degraded by all these one hit wonders and wannabes they can't be the future of Hip Hop.

The hiphop way of life has corrupted many lives. Has it corrupted yours? I do not believe a certain genre of music should corrupt anyone's life, except for bums and dummies. See, let's be realistic here. All these rubbish that peops say like "a certain form of music affected my life" is just another way of giving the popular excuse of "It's the devil's work" when offenders are caught. So, if you cheat on your boyfriend, rap made you do it. You carry guns/shoot n kill, rap made you do it. You do drugs, rap made you do it. Maybe if I'm your boyfriend and you catch me pants down with another chick, I'll say "Rap made me do it".  Please wake up and be responsible for your own actions.  Very soon, someone lame n lazy bone would start blaming fuji, apala, juju, salsa, anything, for his/her sins hisses and shakes his head, lips pursed hard in pityMaybe Rap made Judas Iscariot betray Jesus? or it made the people nail him to the Cross? If you don't like something, just be bold enough to state it categorically. Stop blaming the ills of this world on a particular form of music. Again, Rap Is Life.  |
