Yeah. There are sites that allow you send 'ANONYMOUS' text message like pimpmysms. You just write anything as the sender name.

Toluxa is correct. Gtbank web2sms feature does that perfectly. Sometimes i send txts to peepz and wht they see is 'dual core' and some freak out. Not a good feature though because its a lethal weapon when in lethal hands.

and back to the topic at hand, its phone dependent! some nokia phones had that ability, my mate's ex 6630 or so, if iremember correctly. not sure if they do them anymore because my n82's definitely not that shifty :d
