@Jesoul I heard that news and it was pretty funny where ATL paying him that poorly? is he really leaving the bright lights of the NBA for Greece On the Artest issue i will fight for my pride i am not a chic that would be smacked around Nigga better keep his arms to himself.LMAO
umm. Put this to test. Smack a chic and see how wrong what you said is. She own your balls, Josh Childress is leaving the NBA for Greece as ATL refused to "show him the money" this is slowly chipping away at the potential obstacle in the Celtics way of repeating that was called Atlanta. ah ah I told you to go to the nearest big name bank to collect it, and tell them I sent you Just make sure you put him to shame , and leave open the possiblity and & justification for suing his behind later I already got it. Thanks darl. just bought me a new shoe

cool @Jesoul I heard that news and it was pretty funny where ATL paying him that poorly? is he really leaving the bright lights of the NBA for Greece Wetin concern him concern bright lights? the dude is getting paid major. 9 out of 10 times players will choose the money over other factors. Plus his 3yr "lucrative" deal allows him to opt out after each season so he can return to the nba whenever he wants - smart deal if you ask me.

hey anyone see the WNBA fight from couple days ago between LA & Detroit? lol . . . its funny & ironic, this is probably the most attention the wnba has gotten all year or probably even ever. See ladies, all you had to do was fight, just like the men, and then people will pay attention to you. Imagine the media coverage these teams will get the next time they play each other . . . I might even watch . . . hehe

Hope she doesnt turn out to be the WNBA's version of Jesoul's best player Ron Artest. hehe Artest is inspiring people all around the sports world Speaking of Ron Artest, the Kings just traded him to the Rockets for Bobby Jackson and Donte Green and future pick. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3510261 Hehe. . . A-40 you may be disappointed but trust me, your Mavs have dogded a bullet Houston "you have a problem" and you will have a problem for at least 1 yr. Where's Onyinye? how do you feel about your latest acquisition down in Houston? In other news, did you guys hear the Pistons picked up Kwame Brown? I thot for sure he was done in this league and for a reputable team like Detroit to pick him up is a big deal for him. I hope Joe Dumars knows what he's doing. . . or better yet hope he doesn't for the C's sake.

In other Basketball news: Dwyane Wade guaranteed the USA team will win the gold medal at the Olympics. On top of that he has already laid out a plan of the cities he'll do a tour of showing the gold medal when they return. its these kinds of cocky, arrogant statements that make other countries hate americans. First Lebron now wade, why can't they just shut up and go play? Why is humility a trait that seems to be absent from so many american athletes? infact I hope Pueto rico or someone else spanks them again I hate arrogance.

@Jesoul Well maybe i will take your word for it but i will sue you if Artest's purchase leads the Rockets past the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs
Kwame Brown? That Joe Dumars sef its like he is too used to firing people with such moves his firing could be around the corner
Leave D.Wade and co let them run their mouths it would only add more sauce to their humble-pie if they fail

@Jesoul Well maybe i will take your word for it but i will sue you if Artest's purchase leads the Rockets past the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs TMac making it out of the 1st rd? For me seeing is believing. Although I won't kid myself of the fact they've suddenly become a better defensive team with Artest. My money is still on NO to top the west next season. . . they are a solid team. Kwame Brown? That Joe Dumars sef its like he is too used to firing people with such moves his firing could be around the corner well so far Dumars has been able to resurrect & legitimize the careers of a couple 2nd, 3rd chance players. . . maybe he can do the same for Kwame's lazy behind.

They become a better defensive and offensive team, and it is scoring points that has been their sore point. Artest's good defence often deflects from his very polished offensive skills. If Yao should go down again, Artest can provide good post offense, and good perimeter production when the team is complete. Dumars is hit and miss, though its been mostly hit so far. I bet this one will be a hit-miss

Yes he definately provides another scoring option, but the defense I think is more valueable esp out there in the high powered west where many teams don't want to play defense, it can finally help get that 1st rd monkey off their back. which one be hit-miss?

@Jesoul With Posey in the mix NO is obviously an immediate contender. I know. NO has great potential so go deep next season. Bynum's return also means the Lakers would cause problems No doubt Bynum will provide a solid inside presence but he is just one man, the lakers have still not addressed the reason they did not hoist the trophy in june. but you forgot one team the Mavs yes ohh i said it . . . hehe I already forgot them I mean we'll see!

NO still have the same problem even with James Posey. Posey is a good defensive player, but this team was already good defensively. The problem they had against the Spurs was getting a third scoring option after Bowen locked down (wetin be that Balkan guy name again sef.) They need more offence I reckon, although Posey does augment what is one of the thinnest benches in the league Come sef. . . , You think the Sox will trade Manny? If they do, mehn, odikwa risky oo They should just chill and wait for a berra time to get good value for him I think. If they can withstand his bullshit for this long, waiting a bit longer would not hurt abi?

The Rockets were good defensively, Artest will only make them better. Like someone said earlier, Artest defensive abilities tends to dull his offensive shine. He averaged 20.9 ppg las season. . . that is a very huge number for the Rockets - an instant third scoring option. Plus Alston and Battier( a very good defensive player) three point range, I see the Rockets finishing 3rd in the western conference behind Laker(1) San antonio or New Orleans.
And with Bynum back in the Lakers line up, the lakers will be a complete team. I would love to see K.G muscling Bynum like he did Gasol. Odikwa Impossible.

that is what you call covering all bases. ah I see . A move like that can backfire if it doesn't work. . . unless they picked Kwame up for peanut change. NO still have the same problem even with James Posey. Posey is a good defensive player, but this team was already good defensively. hehe, true talk. They should def wait till the offseason, they have nuthin to loose by exercising some patience. Me, I like Manny, in all his madness and crazyiness and weirdness, his "free-spiritness" inexplicably appeals to me . There's no way the Sox can replace his bat right now so they should just kiss and make up. The real drama in the sports world is Brat Favre . . . I hope GB does not succumb to pressure and release him. Ah ah for the past 4yrs he's been dancing the retirement limbo. After all that crying at the press conference on how he'll miss the game, and does not have the desire anymore. And to think I used to like him about 1 month ago . . . .

Lol. . . Bynum will fare much better than softy, no muscle Gasol. Speaking of muscling around, I imagine all the younsters that Shaq abused when he was dominant can now exact their revenge on his tired slow behind

poor old shaq . . . I guess he can't play any more he is trying to get back to rapping. I enjoyed the Black Cactus jokes and all, but damn the diesel was pompous. I remember Bynum dunked on him, he got really pissed and wanted to fight with the dude. Brett Favre should just retire. I am not feeling that guy, the sage, the packers fan anymore Brett Favre should be a thing of the past. Building on a new quarterback now will set them up for the future.

I remember Bynum dunked on him, he got really pissed and wanted to fight with the dude. hehe since he was dismissed from his deputy position, the guy needs something else to pass time with Brett Favre should just retire. I am not feeling that guy, the sage, the packers fan anymore Brett Favre should be a thing of the past. Building on a new quarterback now will set them up for the future. That should read Brat Favre . . .it is a well deserved modification. How can he retire then come back months later after the team has moved on and say "I've changed my mind"? That's inconsiderate and spolit and if I were part of Packer management I would take the heat but NEVER release him, maybe trade him to the AFC but not a release - they own him for the next couple years.

LOL . . . I told you guys Artest is not stable. 1-day into the trade and he's already beefing with Yao and calling a long-term contract Check out the convo: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3512419Yao: "Hopefully, he's not fighting anymore and going after a guy in the stands," according to the Houston Chronicle. Artest: "I understand what Yao said, but I'm still ghetto. . . That's not going to change. I'm never going to change my culture. Yao has played with a lot of black players, but I don't think he's ever played with a black player that really represents his culture as much as I represent my culture.
"We've still got to make sure there's still a commitment [from the Rockets]," Artest said, according to the Bee. "That's the main thing, is to make sure there's still a commitment. When I speak to the powers-that-be of the Houston Rockets' organization, we're going to find out how much they really want me there. We'll find out. I'm still waiting to find out if this is just a trade or if this is like a long-term commitment-type thing. I haven't spoken to anybody yet. I'm still waiting." Apparently repping "your culture" means you keeps it real by being ghetto and taking matters to your fist if the occasion calls for it . If I were Houston I would be thinking 2wice, 3rice about this trade . . . He hasn't played one second in a houston uniform but yet wants a long-term contract? what is this guy smoking?

Favre should just quit already even though he is a great player and all that i am not sure he can lead the Packers to another NFC championship game i think his time is up and a great player should know when to quit its becoming rather ridiculous he has pulled more comebacks than Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson put together
@Jesoul You would be suprised at the wonders Rick Carlisle will do this season i wont say more than that As for Houston i really feel they could use a gully and grimy player like Artest at least let the guy die before you bury him he just might be what they need Houston must be tired of T-Mac's ajebutter basketball by now
