What do you want to hear? That it's because of the environment, the dust, the struggle, the hustle . . . all of those play a role in it; life no easy for God pikin. Skin color also exaggerates the effect. Not all africans experience this. Sometimes it could be related to health issues.

why would anyone in their right mind see "some" Africans with "cloudy" eyes and make it a general thing?Look around you- you'll see people from every race who have cloudy eyes. Now, unless you're trying to prove red eyes are peculiar to people of continental African descent, you have no point here. Just because of this thread alone I went and checked out posts with pictures of Nigerians, here on Nairaland, and I didnt see anyone with these "cloudy eyes" that you're trying to say is an African trait. if you're too lazy to do some proper research, but would rather generalize based on some weed smoking or maybe overworked associates of yours, then too bad. Browse Nigerian sites,flikr ,my space and facebook and take note how many Africans you're seeing with red eyes there. Nonsense. Why not ship some visine over. |

In Amerikka it is called Jaundice - usually from medications or some form of medications. Usually people with eye color like this are very ill. Afrikans on the other hand walk around appearing PERFECTLY HEALTHY with eye discoloration. and it it BULLSH!t to state it is SKIN COLOR. I've seen very Dark Africans with perfectly white teeth and eyewhites - they are a sight to behold. Here I'll anwser myself. It could be a cadre of things
Malaria
Yellow Fever
Water-Pollution
etc.take a pick - also babies are born with this syndrome - which is particularly unfortunate. |
