Obasanjo used to read the bible and preach at the Aso Rock Chapel every week, as was televised.

How he became the most corrupt president is what I am still trying to figure out.

well, it's not just about opening the bible to read really. rather, it's about discerning the message as contained therein and actually making efforts to live according to it's principles. most church leaders might claim to read the bible all day everyday, even their adherents too, but the prevalence of evil and wickedness even amongst members of the same denomination, parish or congregation puts a lie to their claim of being followers of the Christ.
