Inconceivable Pleased Mother-to-be-inlaw
« on: June 20, 2008, 10:57 PM »

I guess I had been one of those people you would term as the ones who don’t blend in but stands out… could have been called lucky, but that’s not a very pretty name to call a baby of the Zodiac month of January (a Capricornia).
I guess I have a personality that people term as irregular; because I can be an introvert, extrovert, snob, Prima Donna… just name it, I can be all. At least my dad thinks I am a prima donna and extravagant, mom thinks I am an icon, siblings thinks I am lost in an unknown world of PMOND’s Island and they all think I am weirdly cool.

I have been seeing a girl for three year now and her mum think I am arrogant and with a prodigious pride that she despises, even though she barely know me… bottom line; her big sister knows me and feel intimidated by my person… and doing well vilifying me.

I love this girl with the whole of my heart and would love to have her by my side for Ever and a day, if not Forever. But her elder sister has so much influence on her mum and dad and her mum on her immediate family…

Her other sisters and only brother see me as a tin god and even her grand mum likes me, but her aunt and uncles things I am just misleading my girlfriend with good life.
I really don’t know why I am writing this cause I know no one could make me stop stick to my girl, but… I am thinking I would be tempted to see other people if this continue, even though I had been faithful in 3years. The may question is, can you marry a girl/guy who's mum don't like you? and if you do,  would there be peace in it?

Reading the first 3 lines of your sentence, i sense arrogance myself but u know at times a lot people confuse confident with arrogant. if you really love your girl and she loves you back then what the heck!! altho I'll advice you to lower yourself in front of your mother in law oo

@ Poster,

You have stated that you are many things to different people. Why portray a sense of arrogance to your mother-in-law to be?

As much as I would say, BE YOURSELF AND ORIGINAL, I think you should not forget that this is a woman you love ( I suppose), and you indeed know you are not giving a good light to her parents, it is best you work on that. Even though I would also state: it is her you are marrying and not her family, and if she loves you the way you are, GOOD LUCK!

Boy I agree with your virtual mother-in-law.

You are an arrogant prick, full of self pride. I don't even know you and already I don't like you. Get off of your high horse, humble yourself and maybe, just maybe your mother-in-law might start to have a change of heart bout you. Remember that pride always goes before a fall.

No offense bro. this is just my opinion.

If the mother didnt give birth to her daughter you wouldnt have her as your girlfriend.

The third leg you carry inbetween your other two is the source of your problem.  Many men can't help but be arrogant.  Your attractive so that makes you even worse.

Look forget your pride and go to her as a son make a clean start.  Do everything in your power to change her mind.  WOO HER!!!

If that does not work you need to think long and hard because life wont be easy.

i never thought i would meet someone more cocky then i am. cause i admit that i have a real big ego. but real talk boy u going to swallow up some of that pride cause i havent even met you and i already felt the arrogance from your post. but seriously if you don't patch things with that chic family, the rest of you relationship will be hell. trust me i know cause there was this guy i hated cause of his ego. well lets just say his ego was quickly crushed when i got through with him.

Pmond, you're arrogance borders on ignorant folly.
If i were that girl's brother u'D never see her again. It is the likes of you who will one day expect the girl to bow down and worship you at home.

My first car was Audi 80 @ 20yrs,  And it was a splendid car. Moved to Honda Accord (Baby Boy) 16months later and boy,  It rocks and later Mazda 6 and I still miss my 2000model Honda Accord. even when I drove an Audi A4, A6. But when I was privilege to get behind the wheels of Audi Q7, I was again in love with my first love Audi,  and I wish the Q7 was mine *sad* I think I could an arrogant,  and so any one of us. But I am also respectful to people older than myself. It’s not a crime to stand tall.
Perception is the greatest limitation my man for age, so I wouldn’t want y'all to perceive me for who I could be, but assumed what would be the part you would play if you're in my shoe,  I know you wouldn’t want to trade life with me *smile* just pretend it was you.

Jennykadry,  he took it out of you mouth? I guess kleptomania of idea would think alike,  *smile*

Tope2000, we had been limited to express ourselves and when we do it’s termed as arrogance. I was only given you an insight of what I am,  what if I had told you peers named me Capricorn the god, even when I was as timid as a bastard?
Sometime you don’t have to say anything before people call you a thief, even if you are not… its in the eyes, the physic, sentence structure and patterns, style…
Anyway, thanks for the advice, highly appreciated, thanks.

I stated her mother barely know me and it’s my girl’s elder sister that’s poisoning Mother-Law-“Could”-be for reasons best know to her (I guess I used some grammar earlier that a lot of people here can't comprehend)

Those who don’t like me… Brrrrrrrrrr
I got a whole neighborhood that does! I have come across a lot of people who don’t like me at first sight… and you know why? I intimidate them without saying a word to them but sipping Evans water! After saying Hi to them… they think I am just as simple as my NIKE shirts. If there’s no player hater, then there’s no player!

@Essss
See, even though a lot of people misjudge me here, I still get a lot of attention. Sometime you don’t have to work hard to get popular *smile* I believe you would like me if you know me, or read my other post.
