when configuring any stuff on it, please note this little correction u'll have to make in the http proxy field in the network page
the order there is
Port
username
password
thats wht u see there but the labels are mismatched to the textfields, that's not strange considering the fact the thing was unofficial translated.
So just have it in mind that the first box is for Proxy IP, the second is for Proxy port, the third is for username and the fourth for password.

D.C,i only cleared the default opera server which had sumtn like (socket://) nd so on nd entered d mtn thingy after which i checked the http box,nd its workn fine,far better than opera mod 2.06,thanks@dekin

as long as it works. . .
i normally enter all parameters below that http proxy thingy. . . and i use a different opera mini server, as far as i know there are two other opera mini servers apart from the one we all use.

For those finding it difficult to download with opera mini mods, apparently i noticed its not possible to download files with jar extensions but u can download six,rar,zip,exe files with ease. I might be wrong though.

finally i hav been able to download.Use d second one but remove the http after the @.also go to network settings and input d server,proxy,port,username and pwd of mtn.but don't tick d box under the http.Finally modify your earlier post,mtn spies can easily deduce d trick from it.Abeg delete am sef.
