son, i learnt how to resolve conflicts between couples, s today was fathers' day so a lot was mentioned first pastor sam made us recognise three levels of conflicts; 1- addressing issues 2- attack on personalities 3- questioning relationshipshe later made emphasis on how this conflicts could be resolved; 1- use soft words to say hard things proverbs15:1,
2- believe the best about your spouse,
3- get the fact, do not jump into conclusion james1:19,
4- carry everybody along,
5- be aggressive to praises i.e always give complimentsalways remeber "in every man, there is a king and a fool, likewise in women, whichever you talk to replys you"  |

Waoh!!!!! Our service yesterday was very interesting. The sermon was based on Holy Communion (The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ - Corpus Christi) The Rev. Father talked about the numerous benefits of Holy Communion. Above all, I there and then learnt that the reception of the Holy Communion strengtens our failth and urges us to move on at all time despite all odds in life. Therefore, for most of us still looking for job, we are encouraged to reconcile with God through the Holy Communion as it will strenghten our faith in Him who will grant us our heart desires at the appointed time. Nice day!!!   |

because it was fathers day he talked about parenting. he said parents should teach their kids how to deal with their enemies and that not everybody that looks nice is actually nice and that not everybody has their best interest at heart. parents should stop letting their kids tell them what they are going to do. they should be parents and tell the kids what the right thing to do is.

Well recently my Pastor has been trying to make us understand the importance of PRAISE in our daily living as children of God. Praise keeps us in the presence of the Almighty at all times because God inhibits in the praises of His people. Prayer makes you operate in the realm of promises but praise keeps you in the presence of His pleasure and favour. Praise stirs God's pleasure, which attracts His favour. We are to cultivate a habit of praising God for even things we are yet to see in our lives. When our praise goes up, His favour comes down.
There is nothing we give God that is of higher value to Him than praise. WHY? Because God cannot praise himself. As christians we all know that God created us for His pleasure, to give Him praise.
