Let us first go into what led to Muhammad being the Holy spirit.
I never said Muhammad is the holy spirit but you have been the one trying to interprete the verse to be referring to Holy spirit. If you are that confused because of the 'spirit' used there, please if the verse is referring to same
1. Has the holy spirit not been in existence? If it has been, expecting another spirit would be a blatant lie and how many spirits would we be having altogether?
2. What new things has it been telling regarding prostitution, fornication etc
3. What is the position of 'another' in that context.
4. Is jesus a comforter or not?

I have been there and even read Auwal87's post. You didnt say anything to my 5 questions and if you are to do that, I will agree that the verse is for holy spirit.
Part of the question is that has the holy spirit been in existence or not and if it has been and another is coming, how many would we be having?

@pilgrims Are there TWO different "Comforter" in John 14:16 & 26?!? No different ;comforter' and that brings my question again 1. Has the holy spirit not been in existence? 2. Since one is already in existence and another is coming to replace Jesus, how man would we be having. You havent answered my five questions, you were just proving denials. |

I look forward to Church this afternoon.  It's been a wonderful blessing to follow through a current series in our local Church on the subject of 'Knowing God' - and last week's was sub-titled: 'God's Full Gift'. Just as the greatest expression of a valued gift is giving one's self, so God has brought us close to Himself - so that we are not of those who see Him as "far off and unreachable". Ephesians 2:13 -- "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." Blessings.  |

The issues are all around you and they even start creeping into your territory, your family, your home, your plans, your goals, your career. Its like your drowning and there's really nothing you can do Verse 38- Make sure Jesus is in your boat make sure he's part of your life or part of that journey, or family, or career plan, or job. If you're a born-again, its most likely he's there.
- Where did you leave Jesus? Is he taking on an active role in your life? Or do you rule your life and only call him when the going is chaotic? How is your relationship with Jesus?
- When you are in a controversy, chaos, problem, situation that you can't handle go first to Jesus. Dont go religiously, go to him with passion, with your problem, go to him crying, shouting. Go to him in sincerity. He is a better solution than the hard drugs, alchohol, cigarrettes, the addiction.
- Some of us have to wake Christ up in our lives, we have fallen so badly. The world has taken us hostage, whereas 1 John 5:3 says we overcame the world - its way of living, sin, flesh - through our Faith in Jesus. Where is your faith right now?
Verse 39- There is a big difference between a person who has Jesus active in life and a religious christian. Results are obvious. The word of God is not mere words Its power - demonstration, action, the way we live, the way we talk . . . 1 Corinthians 4:20
- Jesus can and will act when called upon, He is merciful. He is faithful even when we are faithless. He has power and authority over ALL things . . . even those little things we think He knows nothing about. He cares.

@somze, Somehow I feel strongly that you might have been praying for me. That might be a risky guess, but I don't mind to be wrong. WHY? I'd like to say that you piece above was quite a blessing to me in more ways than I could express here. I couldn't believe how easy my test (part II) went yesterday. Initially, I had gone reluctantly and hoping to make a bit above average - but it was just a walk-over!! If not you, then my thanks to whoever has been praying for me - and especially to you for posting the above as a timely blessing and encouragement. You will never be able to quantify how much you did in that exercise - and God will not let you lose your reward! Please keep up the good job, and many blessings to you! We had a study on the power of words. Words - written or spoken - have the latent potency to cause reactions. A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it - (Prov. 15:23). In various ways, we have all experienced various emotions and reactions from words we either read or heard. . . or even said to others. In the midst of it all, can we be truly blessed if the words we speak lack any real values of truth and kindness? Php. 4:8 & 9 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
