When A Kid Asks 'What Is Sex?'
« on: June 21, 2008, 11:45 PM »

Ok so . . . u know how we are always expecting kids to one day come up with that question that everyone knows : where do kids come from?" so we are not always very supprised when they do ask it, besides I've practised a little soo that one is just put aside 4 me, But this is a different story.

Ok so . . . I was in this little girls B-day party, and I was sitting with some group of friends playing cards and stuff in an open space . . . and this girls parent where just by d side, not far away but within an ear shot thou, so she came up to me ( u know those kind of kids that r soo smart and almost like an adult, wants to know everythig and stuff, and are always asking questions and are just soo adorable!) -- she is like my very good friend I babysit her and watch cartoons with her, so I'm like her extra mummy.

to cut it short, she came up to me there and was like

" Hey Nella . . .  What's sex?"
-------------------------------------------- every one just stopped wht they were doing and turned to my\our direction, oh gosh u should have seen their faces! Talkless of mine! Even her parents, --- so. . . everyone wereobviously shocked and waiting 4 what I would say to her,
Gosh u should have seen my face! I'm sure if I was a white, I would not only have turned pink, but orange and green put together!
when I mannaged to start breathing again I was like:

" umwhere did u hear that?"

she just shrugged, like care free and was waiting 4 my answer as well

God really helped me because I really suck at improvising! But i tried sha, I was like:

" Erm  . . . It's a really really bad thi word that mummy don't want u to say, because if u do  . . . then she wouldn't  buy u ice cream  "

relive  Grin . . . she just shrugged and was like " oh, ok, fiinne" and walked away,

God! u should have seen my face! . . . this white kids are expossed to everything nowadays, it's terrible, mehn.

Ok . . . atleast I tried, if it was u guys, give your answer! . . . u have less than 1 min,

Lol - this is hilarious enough! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

My reply would be her exact actions. Shrug and then say she should ask her parents. They should face the challenges of being parents - why would i be involved in explaining sex to their little child.

I will tell her sex is what God use in differentiating people. The sex of a baby is either boy or girl.
and hope that will satisfy her

I'll tell her its a game adult play, and  she'll understand when she gets older.

I think that's nearer to the answer.

If I was the one I would let her know what sex, cause Sex Education should be taught ealier so that he/She won't make mistake, once  he/she is educated in the right way she would be cautious,

So my Lady you no try atall,

OMG , i am surprised that you almost turned red,  simple answer,

SEX is a gender, meaning  You are a girl , so your sex is female. and Your brother is a boy and his sex is Male,  straight answer and they little girl would have added a word to her volcablary,  You made seem that sex is a bad thing,  nooo,  at her age , sex means gender differentiation,

@ sylvex:
I don't have to! they already know eventhough you think or believe they don't. way back when my cousin was only 5 or 6yrs old, she almost! ALMOST cux she didn't catch me in the real act (we're kind of half naked) but guess what? she told her mum that she saw me having sex! [sub]not to talk of telling her at the dinning table with everybody there! yeah![/sub]
