Some nigerian accent are sexy. But I don't think all nigerians have an accent (you cannot place with a particular tribe).
The one i think is sexy the most is yoruba.
The one accent that i don't really like if it is very concentrated is ibo.

hey accent or no accent, the thing is that we are all use to the nigerian accent, Personally i don't agree with what hot angel said that the yoruba language mixed with the 'ajebutter' accent is sexy, When u say 1 ounce, u prounounce it as as 1 hounce??? and u call that sexy???, Every country has its unique way of speaking, The ghanians are differnt from nigerians in their prounounciation, Bus is prounounced as 'bas'etc, The liberians have their own accent,the kenyans,the jamaicans or even the asians, i speak normally as a nigerian because i was born in nigeria though i aint fully nigerian, so just be proud of your true accent,  |

i am all for secure guys, british accent as white british yuk they just sound like wemps, the black one o lawd don,t get me started they are some thing else they say things like (nuff mans) a group of men there english is broken,backwards, upside down how ever they can say it they will.

How do we really determine an accent that is sexy? There are no benchmarks or parameters. Americans cannot accept British accent, which should be a standard for non-native English speakers. We should rather pay attention to intonation. The way water or computer is pronounced in N/America will make you think that they have speech defect with /t/ as Igbos in /sh/ch/ Onicha-Onitsha and yorubas in /h/ ave-have. Prof Soyinka won a Noble Prize with his accent. Dr Okonjo Iweala became a VP at World Bank with her accent. Boutrous Boutrous Ghali of Egypt, former Secretary General of United Nations with his accent. Kofi Annan is a Ghanaian too. Germans or Russians will be the first to tell you that their accent is the bomb. ie Ethnocentrism. Even in North- America, New York accent is quite different from Alabama. How do you determine which one is sexier? White people have different accent from black people or Latinos. I am always fascinated by good grammar not really by a sexy accent because I’m not going to make out. I want to communicate period

Guess what I love the Hausa accent, especially when you think of the way 'Samanja' used it in that old TV series we used to watch back then. I just think its the most attractive accent and although I am Yoruba, I do not like the deep Yoruba accent and you can say the Igbo accent is kind of way in between. Generally speaking I like the Italian accent! |

the educated yoruba and hausa accents can be sexy at times.but i realised lately i can't stand the igbo accent.in any form.my God.i had this igbo guy asking me out resently.never dated one.now i know why, i hated the accent so much i started hating him.(no offence 2 anyone)and to think he even had a foreign masters degree, ggrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhh
