This list wouldn`t be complete without what i consider to be the MOST EXOTIC language in nigeria, the efik/ibibio language. I think it`s the most beautiful and romantic lingua ever in south of the Sahara. Probably the mother of all languages. I love my heritage . You know, !There`s this (click click) sound that  trips me and,  i wish i could speak it better.

top on my list has to be the polished (well - educated) hausa accent. it has always killed me. even the language itself trips me (sad i was unable to find one fine hausa bloke i cld get my paws on in the 18mths i spent in kano)

butta yoruba is nice but nothing especially exciting.

forget all that my tribe this my tribe that. i be igbo, and the thick accent stinks. i speak without any accent whatsoever, but i still love my relatives back at home tho. however, it's at the workplace and with toasters that accents irritate me. in varying degrees too.

warri is just,  AREA! puts u in a good mood anyday.

calabar is the funniest accent. i swear. funnier than local hausa accent speaking english, nyunction, and the way they add n to all their consonants. Grin
and i've got one in my office too! she's a good worker tho. just can't help it.

it's funny u know, no matter how much brain he's got, it's usually a no-no in dating. no accents thank you very much. it's bad enough we'll have to see each other often. i don't need another source of aggravation every time u open your mouth.

@NigEclipse
enjoy jare. at least even if u wowo, hope dey for nigerian guys abroad to toast fine white chicks. just speak "proudly nigerian"

I really don’t see the big deal. I have an American accent but maybe because I spent most of my time in the States while my father has a very thick Yoruba accent and it sounds lovely. I love all the different ethnic accents and normally when I hear one I can automatically tell which part of the world they’re from. You would be surprised how many chicks in the States fall for the heavy accent at times.

I'm not too familiar with what accent is sexy but all i know is i like it when a nigerian guy speaks broken english, but what i don't like is the igbo accent, sorry to anyone who is igbo but its an ugly accent, they all pronounce things funny like trash would now be thrash, talking is taulkin, and and they always say ganna and want to, sorry! im rambling

in my opinion it depends on the speakers oreintation and bakground/tribe. ange-butter peeps generally have sexier accents. some peeps though can switch easily between their native tongue accent and the phonetic type of english. go listen to them fake ass radio/TV personalities.

on the whole i love all Nigerian languages/accents. love the variety and how funny they can be. calabar, Igbo, yoruba, hausa, warri, all of em!

I think u're right, men i gotta  say that i love them all but i suppose that be4 u  think of datin someone , i mean any one.be it a guy or a girl, try 2 talk more on phone, be4 she/he disgraces u in de public,
      as 4 me , i love guys with nice/kool accents, i mean when dey talk, men u getta hooked-up at once,

Lots of Delta/Edo chicks here get compliments on their accents from Naija and Non-Naija peeps alike (not just me but a tonne of my friends and our 2 cousins whom all deez acata babes no dey let rest! It's like text after text after text! Sheesh! I no say them fine but damn!). I hear I sound like a mishmash of spicy Naija + soft-Southern + Brit (I promise you I didn't come up with this. My first boyfriend did and he was Oyibo + Scottish) and that's muy muy sexy!
Shu-u! Who am I to say no? Je je je!
I get compliments on my accent all the time even though my big sis go jus dey yab me because I can't pronounce Igbo names properly any more. Sha, I triumph  over her when it comes to Warri pidgin though (by like 1000% I dey rap the tin lai say no go com no try me eh! LOL) so it's all good!

I also think the way middle-belt guys speak English and Pidgin is so-oo sexy! That's the reason I like Zulezoo and Jeremiah Gyang so much! I'm like don't even sing -- although I love their songs -- just talk.  Any middle belt guys around? Want to hola at a Bendel babe? My Indian boyfriend doesn't have to know! Ejo! Ejo! Don't beat me!
