That's stupid and ridiculous. With us African-Americans, we refer to ours as just being mixed or bi-racial though that only if that issue comes up, because in general we simply just engulf them within the African-American title or black-American title as the rest of us. We do not take part in divisionist tactics. We have a long history as standing as all one people. And what the hell is up with referring to them as half-cast? You call an African-American biracial person a half cast and they'll probably knock you the mess out. That sound so degrading it's not even funny.

The term half cast is so ignorant. Some people ask me is my child fully black or a half cast!!!!!. I'm like get lost. yeah in the states one would not dare say that, its wrong an Nigerians don't seem to know that. Same goes for irish and some english too.

Werd, Leilah, what the hell is up with some of them and these dumb ass titles, in which in their very meaning behind the word are extremely degrading and yet they say them as if it nothing? Akata, Oyinbo, Chino and fucking Half-Cast; what the hell is wrong with these fools who use such titles? None of my wifes family here in the states use any of those, simply because they are educated and civil enough to know that they are rude and bush/ignorant.
