2face Idibia Earned $5 Million For 'Phat Girlz'?

There is the news that 2Face's song "African Queen" as used as sound track of the American movie Phat Girls earned him (i.e. 2Face) a whooping $5million ,

my question is how true can this be? considering that:
- The movie is a low-budget film.
- The only well-known Hollywood star is Monique. How much would she have collected herself?
- The song is not a dedicated soundtrack (i mean he sang it, not because of d movie), the song was just used for the film. we know of many songs that were specifically made for films, (like waiting-to-exhale) which had its own Album,
- There wasn't any stunt or whatever in the film (which normally boost up the budget of a film),

how practicable will this payment for that song be,? I don't have any problem with 2Face.  In fact I like the song, but i'm just thinking aloud.

i'll like to hear your views.  $5 million is about N750,000,000.00

2face wishes he earned 5 mils for that movie. first of "Phat girlz' was a low(very low) budget film. monique the main character can't even boast of making that much in a movie, talkless of 2face.

i wonder were people get these stories from. if thats the case, then every american artist should be getting 5 million naira for every song that naija artist stole/steals( as in the beats)
