I also think sagging pants make any man look irresponsible. The girls encourage them to keep wearing those things as they seem to go around with boys who wear such things.

HOWEVER;

It's not even about winning or losing. If you're so concerned about knowing who won, the white men won this rat-race a long time ago. Black people are still fighting to get it back. We shall not quarrel or begin a cat and mouse argument over whose opinion is superior; however, I will encourage you to understand that one's living environment is no excuse to condone sheepish ideas. Sagging pants is a prison trend that wasn't intended for the purpose of fashion. Even freedom to express has its limits - what type of freedom is a grown ass man expressing by sagging his pants. Makes him look inappropriate, irresponsible, feminine, dull, pathetic, dirty, you name it. Why bother putting the darn pants on if your plan is to let it slide all the way back down. What is being expressed here that cannot be expressed in a more appropriate manner? Kids or adults don't need to see these obscene displays while walking down their streets.

Can we apply the above to women as well when they wear sagging bras to show off their cleavages? Can we also tell these women that our kids or adults dont need to see these obscenities while going about their daily lives?

It is fashion statement among Black American youths. . .not all Black youths.

I read somewhere that its from prison wear. Supposedly the pants they wear in prisons dont fit  Lips sealed  I wonder if it means that Black Americans think it's cool to go to prison. If prison styles are the things worthy of emulation, one has to be careful how he/she raises children.

But if African Americans are saving the world, I'm you so called Africans will be quick to say they are Africans too. If they developed a cure for AIDS I'm sure you so called Africans will say that's the African gift. Right? right?

Kolo mentality, e be say you be colonial man, you don be slave for before. Dem don release you now, but you never release your self.

E be so dem do dem de over do all things dem do. e be so. E be so dem de do, dem think say dem better pass dem brothers no be so? e be so. The thing weh black no good, na foreign things dem de like no be so? e be so!

Idiots before you bash AAs for wearing baggy, don't you think baggy was gotten from African culture? What do you think our fathers call "kembe" isn't that baggy? Before you bash AAs for wearing too much chains on their necks, don't you think it's the African in them? All those beeds our kings wear around their necks nko?

What makes you think your "western" style of dressing is the correct way? cause white people dress like that? some white people believe in sharing their wives with other men in a threesome.  kolo mentality!!!!!!!!!!

I'm African American and while I don't wear sagging pants I don't see anything wrong with it. But it silly when it gets to the point where you have to pull your pants up every 2 minutes. I definitely see nothing wrong with baggy pants.
