Oyinye darling, I'm sorry, but I can't help to laugh.

She's leading you, and like a naive child, you're skipping happily, following her.

lmao!! If you think she's old and a judge, then Florida be  must cold with long winters.

Child, stop it! It's too funny!

sorry o but onyinye keeps talking about being "young". Its one thing to be young but one thing to be young and actually goodlooking. The two dont necessarily come together.

That's by the way . . . on topic . . . are some people still supporting those illiterates i see on BET? Do people know that several big name advertisers have recently pulled their adverts from BET because of profanity?

Is this topic on this style of dress?

heaven help us.

Role model or not, what is there to fight over in this picture?

if this guy werent rich or a rapper, he'd be in a psychiatric institution or in jail.

can one even blame the cops for being jittery if they see someone like this on their daily rounds. In Nigeria, people looking like this are most likely to be armed robbers.

Please lets not get carried away by sentiment at the expense of practicality.

Does his belt buckle say RAPE or am I seeing things?

if he's currently in college getting a degree then I hope he's seeing a different way of life than his own.

And at the end of the day when he marries a white woman I hope his black female fans are happy for him. Their own is to be baby mama.  White woman's own is to be the mrs with no prenup.

See what I hate about juveniles

They can't read. The topic specifically asks about Black Youths. Yet they are trying to make it a race issue. Nigerians ARE black, we are asking abouyt BLACK AMERICANS.

What the hell concerns us with white America? Answer the bloody question or be quiet

Miley is like 10 years old. Who the hell is looking to that tart as a "role model"? Who the hell is copying her? Good Charlotte are wannabe punks hence the stupid piercings and tattoos, You think we are afraid of insulting them too? We would, actually I would but that is NOT what this topic is about

STAY ON TOPIC. Infact some people should be banned for going OFF TOPIC.

broaden your mind.

AAs themselves are moving away from hiphop.

Nigerian youths seem to be a bit slow on the uptake.

No music genre lasts forever. Rap wasnt always the only "black" music like it is today.

If you've ever heard of Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross, etc. Try to listen to their music and find any hiphop in it. They are all black musicians who produced what used to be known as black themed music but today has been taken over by whites. I'm sure you personally would consider their music "white" and "anti-black".

Each form of music has its own place in the larger picture. Why jailhouse rock/rap came to dominate at the expense of other rhythms is baffling. Even Will Smith who was one of the pioneers of rap music, has distanced himself from the whole show.

here's the really stupid thing about those who raise the "whites do it too" card each time you raise the question of poor black role models . . . you rarely ever see whites using Miley Cyrus as a role model . . . these girls are nothing but financial cashcows to their pay masters and nothing more.

We have white-owned TV channels like Fox, MSNBC, Tennis Channel, CNBC . . . what do the blacks have? BET! Nuff said.

Keep clinging to the coat tails of Marylin Manson . . . most white American kids are too busy in school.

you know what grandma im truly done with you. you can walk around judging people because they dont act or dress the  way you do.(thank God they dont). me, well im going to continue helping my people each day. instead of turning my back on them, i help them. i spend time with these youths that you seem to have no time to even give the chance and understand them. so while you are bitter and what have you, im out there making a difference with these kids, so i can prove people just like you that you aint nothing but another obstacle to stomp on. so you go on and say that lil wayne is worthless, you go on and say im a akata wannabe, you go on do you cause im going to do me.

Jimi Hendrix is/was loved by alot of people in the states. He's an idol to Eric Clapton. He was black and what was his music? Classic Rock. Im not bored enough to list the many Classic rock black musicians. Most of them tried to sound like black men sef esp The Rolling Stones. Yet ignorant clueless lunatics run around calling such music "white music". So daft.

Miley Cyrus so far has done nothing to warrant her being compared to little wayne. She took a couple of bad pictures- she apologized and didnt justify what she did. The photographer also had to explain why she set her up in that manner.

Good Charloote is not mainstream white music. As in majority of white youths don't listen to Good Charlotte alone and ignore all other forms of music. Toby keith isnt openly and directly marketing beer to youths.

if those are the only white musicians you know, then they still can't be compared to this one photo  here. Undecided

Is that really true? Cos last time Miley came around my neighbourhood the tickets sold like pancake courtesy of teenage white girls. Some actually hoarded those tickets and sold them at ridiculously exorbitant prices on the web. Teenage girls , especially white ones, look up to and adore the girl.

Just cos they lsiten to her music doesnt mean they copy what she does.
