really :-) what a surprise ;-)

Its funny, i was thinkin about it - ego means money right, in igbo. but all over the world ego is referred to the latin word of ego meaning me or oneself, it made me laugh, that if you don't understant igbo and they say ego, everyone else would think they talk about themselves, while they are talking about money, it is somehow simbolic for the meaning money has :-) but this is just playing around with words! Ohh i just saw your age, 17 years!! No wonder . I was close enough, concentrate more on your books and leave stereotyping and tribalism out of your little brain, it will do you more good.

Guys!!! Looks like we have changed the theme, right???

Its very amusing to read your posts, but in my opinion this has nothing to do with the original question: what do i need to know about igbos, or does it?!?

R u trying to tell me sth :-O)

They and the Hausa are the best looking Nigerians. The majority of African-Americans are of majority Igbo descent. Alot of them love to talk about money. They are bullied around in Nigeria. Most Nigerian 419ers are Igbo. They're descendant of the original Israelites, which is odd because alot of other African refer to them as the Jews of African in a rather negative way,  referencing to many of their supposed shifty acumen mannerisms in which are often made reference to with the Jews of today.

They are known for being rather athletic, stylish, and sly talking. Humm, they are know for being fair skinned and able to blend in well to an adopted society, and able to play sports well. They're presence is highly recognized within early African-American, Haitian, Cuban and Bahamian history. The Hausa and Yoruba tried to mass murder them in an genocidal attempt to force them to stay part of Nigeria; nearly 2 Million Igbo men, women and children were slaughtered in that effort.

The Hausa and other radical Islamic northern Nigerian groups, still to this day, attempt to kill off Igbo every chance they get. Lots of Igbo back in Nigeria still believe in radical juju spiritual foolishness, like ritual killings and crap. They are the most educated of Nigerians on average.  If you need more info, I have some for you, just ask.  Wink

Hey Hero!

Thanks for all this information :-)

Its good that i have some kind of knowledge, you know for me 419 as well as juju did not have any meaning, but by now i have an idea of those things! By the way,  do you have any tale about juju you can tell me about? Sth you have heard that has happened, or even sth you have experienced yourself?

Would you say that Housa and Yoruba for the most part don't get along with igbos?

You are right about the good looks :-) i totally agree :-)
