 Grzzly!
It seems you didnt read my above post and let me repeat this on Costa Rica!

An embarrassment to South Americans.
What sort of poor fielding was that? Small sleazy flare passes which annoyed me.
What was wrong with their goalie? Literally a blind man
Wanchope had the desire to move as he had the speed, pace and accuracy but hu! Disorganized players they are. They must be headed out of World cup.
They reall made Germany look like a formidable squad of which they are not

Well i think that wasnt the case. You can't imagine playing against host, before thousands of screaming fans,  not like costa rica were favourites anyway,

Germany had to win that game it being their 1st, tho they showed lack of composure at times
but the fans got behind them, i tell u it was crazy here in munich

but if they want to really make much of an impact in this mundial they have to work on their defence
and maybe ensure that Ballack stays fit, because it only takes a moment of brilliance from him 2 turn a match on its head

As for Ecuador they were outstanding against Poland, who were simply poor
don't know why,
probably they underestimated the south americans  "who beat Argentina in the qualifiers"  to their own peril

Germany and Ecuador will qualify from this group

I have a new respect for Neuville. What was with that goal they scored at the 89th minute?

@j-girl

the goal scored by Odonkor in the 89th minute was not allowed because Ballack was in an offside position

@ hippie,
I can authoritatively tell u now that Michael Ballack is now Chelsea's property.
He used to play for Bayern Munich but thats history now.
Ballack will be wearing blue for now---thanx to the new Roman Empire.

Phillip Lahm(Bayern Munich) might also be on his way to Chelsea while you're still wondering about Ballack's transfer.
English language now happens to be the excuse of this sudden migration to England.---thanx again to the Roman Empire.

Ecuador booked a place in the knock-out stages for the first time ever with a comfortable win which also put Germany through to the second round.
