Try to find out if te school as a pre-degree or degree foundation programme. Then find out what's the content or syllabus of the subjects offered in such programmes as well as te past question. This would be an additional guide to your preparations. The pre-degree work load for some schools like OAU and LAUTECH are available online so you can also ceck if tat of your choice institution is online too.

Most scools also ave portals and online forums like tis one so you can post a thread to current undergraduates asking tem for tips. You may get one or two sound ones, only be careful because some 'egbons' may want to take advantage of you - please, sine your eyes!

However, someting i think causes failure wic you must avoid like a forbidden fruit is what i call te deep-breat attitude: it's this sigh of releif heaved after the completion of what we consider a task suc as an examination

It makes people say such tings as Ope O! Finally! WOW! We've accomplished, let's now relax and ave fun!

For example, when some of my O.O.You seniors graduated tis year, guess what they did? They made customized jerseys by department with teir names beind and GAME OVER! in front. You know what tat means? Many of them may never read any book again! Tat's wy it's been said that many graduates in Africa never read a book till they die after leaving school.

I think it's tis same attitud tat affects many JAMB candidates. Immediately they pencil up in UME, they never boter to study again, except,of course, tose who're still in school. But to remain a success, you need to , not only keep doing what got you there, you need to conitually up your game!

I was watcing Dr Mike Murdock on TV last week; he talked about Tiger Woods an Evander Holifield. He askes, Where was Tiger Woods the day after e won is first US ope? At te same course where e learned to play golf under is father's tutelage at age 5! And olifield after defeating and frustrating Tyson was back in te ring te next day training and doing is ropes!

That's not to mean tat you sould give yourself a well deserved rest after your exams  or enjoy your victory, even God had to rest after creating the world ( All work and no play makes, ) Yet, i believe you sould be able to have a reasonable balance and maintain your study so as to keep your memery fresh.  I ope you get the gist!

I was also walking around a coaching centre on return from dropping off my niece in school and i saw tat they had post-jamb coacing written on their motice board. So you can visit any of suc centres to see what they have to offer. I only don't know ow such coacing would be considering tat post-jamb is not centralized like jamb. Will tey treat schools in paricular or just post-jamb generally? tat i don't know
