Oau Post Ume Is Out Check0 It Out 2008/2009 Session

but i don't seems to get some thing right where precesly are we going to get the post ume form.is it from ife or any bank at all because i reside in lagos thatz why am asking man.

INFORMATION ON 2008 POST UME SCREENING

 

SECTION A      -     Screening Procedure

 

i)          Make the following payments in any of the Banks listed in SECTION B below

·                    Application Fee          -           N3,000

·                    Scratch Card              -           N500 (for online Registration and Checking of Results)

·                    Bank Commission      -           N120

 

ii)         The Digital Passport Photograph you used for the UME Registration will be used. Where this is not available, the system will accept your Digital Passport Photograph. Please note that any picture size greater than 30 KB will be rejected.

 

iii)        If you apply to OAU for the 2008 UME and you score at least 200, complete the Application Form. View your Application Form for correctness ensuring that it shows your EXAMINATION NUMBER, SCREENING CENTRE and PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH before you print. You are required to print three copies of the correct Application Form to be used as thus:

           

Ø      Bring 1 copy for the Screening Examination

Ø      If Admitted, bring 2nd copy for Registration on resumption

Ø      Keep the 3rd copy for your record

 

iv)        The SCREENING EXAMINATION DATE is ………………,  Please bring the following to your Screening Centre:

 

·         1 Copy of your Application Form

·         HB pencil will be required.

Yeah, it is through that the post ume is ready, i heard thatit will take place on July 16, the registration procedure is online and the designated banks for strach card

University of Ibadan will be launching her maiden Edition Pre-Degree Program On the 15th of July with a full page advert on the Guardian of that same week. This is to prepare better candidates for university intakes as most of their post jamb exercises have shown gross poor performance.

The program is to start online from the admission process where the candidate will go through the following on the university web portal.

1. Online Application form for Admission
2. Online Career Development Plan
3. Online prometric Pre-testing ( for Pre-Degree and Jamb Candidates)

The Online application for admission will be obtain from any of the branches of the following banks. Afrikbank, Zenith, Intercontinental, and Stanbic IBTC. texts and e-mail messages will be sent for exam date, venue and seating arrangements.
 
The Online Career Development Plan consists a career questionnaire for every candidate to be filled . This is to identify and know his or her personality, which will determine the career cluster he or she falls into. This will give the candidates the array of courses they an do that is available at UI, even at certificate and diploma level.

The program also has an online prometric testing which is compulsory for all candidates - which they must take and pass. This test consists of Jamb like questions (past jamb, SSCE and NECO questions) this is to prepare them for the entrance exams which will take place in both Ibadan and Lagos.

Successful candidates from the entrance exams will be groomed for 9mths at the university of Ibadan. After which they will take a semester and final exams which will qualify them for admission into the university. The program is been cordinated by the Distance learning center, university of ibadan.

Av been to most of this banks,  they said they do not have it. I think the option is to go to their branches in IFE according to the man i meet at their lagos office.

Am finding it very difficult to register for oau post ume. i ve been trying it for the past four days now. is there anyway out. am getting sick and tired of it.

You can also get solution to any difficulty you get in registering and loading of a digital passport photograph if yours is not available on the page from JAMB office.

I don tire for the scratch card oooo, av been to most banks in Alen, Opebi, oregun, alausa, Oba Akran even Lagos island,  na dulling ooo. Can anyone confirm for me if the chool bookshop opens tomorrow ? I can probably go to school bookshop to get it jare.
