The guy has come too close on a lot of occasions to lift a trophy, but his luck just sucks!
Check this out;
· 2002 (Bayer Leverkusen) – lost Champions league to Real Madrid (via a Zidane wonder strike)
· 2002 (Bayer Leverkusen) – Lost Bundesliga to Bayern Munich (I think)
· 2002 (Germany) – lost World cup to Brazil (he was even suspended for he match)
· 2008 (Chelsea) – lost Carling Cup to Tottenham hotspurs
· 2008 (Chelsea) – lost Premiership to Man Utd on the last day
· 2008 (Chelsea) – lost Champions league, again, to Man Utd
· 2008 (Germany) – lost European Cup to Spain.
So you see, even though history was on Germany’s side, it wasn’t on Ballack’s side. He must be used to being no. 2 by now. I kind of feel sorry for the guy.

He has made several finals already. So why wont he make another. The Finals for the Mannschaft is a routine. Its easier for germany to make a final than for Allemagne to qualify from group stages  |
