because this is pretty crazy
I think the craziest thing is that since the beginning of time men have been creating fictitious figures like Satan to frighten us into being good. It is total mind control! If you are in the US, you will have surely heard of the bogey man! This is a story that was made up to frighten children into being good! Satan is no different. The whole Satan story was made up to frighten us into being good and also to give the church a fictive figure to blame when they phuck up ! So, calm down and have a beer. Satan was created to serve and worship God like every other creature. More importantly, because he is a jinn, and also has free will like a man, he was also to be tested, and he failed the test. Then he now served a useful purpose as a reference point for measuring goodness or evil. Think of it, if light existed without darkness, it would be pretty difficult to appreciate and contrast it.This I suppose should be part of his purpose. To give man an option of doing evil.

Today machines are under the total control of their makers,any malfunctions can always be traced back to the designer,these machines,computers,robots,smart bombs can not be held responsible for their actions.
The Designer is Everknowing because the machine can not carry out any ACTION outside its design parameters

I personally believe Satan (I prefer to call him Lucifer) to be a very charming character. I can definitely say he is smarter than God (if both exist). It's funny how he does nothing to gain the souls (if such thing exist) of men. How sad that people continue to toy with their future and keep making silly remarks about the eternal God of glory, their creator and Lord of the universe.
Satan is simply a fallen former angel of God who was overcome with the twin deadly sins of pride and jealousy which many today in this fallen world not only embrace but are overflowing with these perverted traits.
How Satan must laugh at Reverend when he makes silly remarks about his existence, when demons have clutched many a soul into the eternal resting place for the rebellious dead, waiting for the lake of fire where all the liars, unbelieving, adulterers etc shall be plunged into, not because God willed it, but because they destroyed God's earth by their vile ways, their greed and numerous lusts.
Everyday for the thief but one day for the master.
People will be shell shocked when Jesus appears to judge their evil misdeeds, but alas it will be too late because they spent the better part of their lives pursuing vain things and engaging in blatantly destructive philosophies all sourced from decaying human wisdom.

You know this is a really interesting topic. Kudos to the guy that raised it. I personally do not believe in the existence of the entity known as Satan. I do believe in God of course. But I do not accept that the entity described as ''God'' in the Bible IS the Creator of the universes, and the Source of ALL life and all that is. At best I see this Biblical ''God'' as an ancient Jewish tribal deity of particular viciousness and ill-temper. I find many of the Yoruba deities for instance to be far superior in moral content.
