Bank Manager Sacked For Kneeling Many Branch Staff Down For Not Meeting Target
« on: July 02, 2008, 08:24 AM »

A Female Branch Manager in charge of one of the Zenith Bank branches on the Island was given the boot last week for asking members of staff who were unable to meet their monthly targets to kneel down on the floor.  This bizarre incident which started as a joke saw many senior banking officers go down on their knees as a result of their "non-performance"

The story had it that the male senior officers were the first to go down on their knees, leaving the female and junior marketing officers with no choice than to follow suit. This led to the resigning of a very popular and hardworking male Senior Officer who was due for promotion in July.

In a swift reaction after getting the news, Jim Ovia, MD/CEO of Zenith gave the  female manager the boot immediately the story was confirmed and apologised to all involved and in fact gave all the affected staff his personal numbers urging them to call or send him a text in case anything is bothering them.

I'm sure similar things do happen in other banks across this country.

This is really Banking turned upside down

It actually happened in Zenith Bank, Ojuelegba in Surulere.  You can check it out yourself, but I know their Corporate Info Unit would've done enough damage control.  Nevertheless, it happened.

All those who knelt down are bunch of gutter bunkums, their certificates and any other qualification they claimed to have, must be thorough investigated.

All the males who succumbed to that order should  have their testicles removed, they are 1000%shame

Jim Ovia shouldn't have intefered
