Point of correctn sisqo,
peculiar 2 all 3110c phones,bt it can be repaired.
Do u knw why it does that?
Mem.that phone can nt hold 2 many mem.
Try this.
Test 2 mem card wit 2 diff 3110c fones.lets say A and B.
512 mb in one
and 2gbmem card in d oda.u shld knw wot ll happen.

The radio goes on for some minutes before the phone goes off. I don't have a memory card so its not an issue(the phone is just less than 2 months old). Now it doesnt even boot at all again. It only writes 'contact service' and switches off

Shayman,if u stay arround lagos,visit comp.village.bt i tell u somtin d probs wit d phone is d mem.delete som tins from d phone!that is d perfect solution

i don't think it has anything to do with the memory card because my brother also has the same phone nokia 3110c with a 128mb memory card in it and it stiil does the rubbish (restarting)

Nokia 3110c and my 3500c is d same except 4 camera pixel n infrared, so guess its a major flop frm nokia!

There is nothing inside. Remember i told you it has been flashed twice. I guess the problem is that it was not well flashed. It can even power on now. All it does is write nokia, *hands shake* then 'contact service' and then goes off
