On The Issue Of Men And Crime
« on: July 02, 2008, 05:47 PM »

The high level of testosterone found in men has been blamed for their high rate of violent crimes but my problem now is why do men still give women a landslide victory in nonviolent crimes like check fraud or general 419? Is there anything in their DNA that we are yet to find that makes most of them to be criminally minded? Why do we blame the high rate of black men in jails to racism? Is it not time we check whether there is a culture among black people that frustrate men into crimes more than other races?

On the Nigerian scene:

If you check well, you'll notice that 90% of 419 crimes are committed by men between the ages of 25-49 and are usually ibo or yoruba and the hausas are more involved in violent crimes. Could there be something in the DNA"s of these groups that push them to commit this crime? Could it be related their culture?
