Is Savings Account Tenable At Embassy?
« on: July 03, 2008, 04:09 PM »

Hi guys,

I want to confim if Savings account is tenable at Embassy.

I work in a place where we don't use pay slip & collect our salary by hand (cash). Thus, I don’t have active current a/c: I only make regular deposit to a Savings a/c. To ensure a flow, many people deposit into it but I’m d only one that does withdrawals from it.

With sufficient fund in it, is this tenable at any embassy as statement of account?

Thx

Thx for that.

However, i think if you're being sponsored for d trip, presenting a savings a/c is just a supportive proof. But a case where you're sponsoring self and u have to present your pay slips, then a savings a/c. Does it tally?

Won't they expect a worker who collects regular salary & pay slip to have an active current a/c?

Please I still need more light. I don't want to narrow my chance. Can't risk visa denial,

Thx  - All D Runs

Ayomifull resides in Ireland, even if she applies for a UK visa from Nigeria, she can obtain it with relative ease as though someone is purchasing a concert ticket.
I know people who obtained the UK visa with partial (incomplete) documents since they legally reside and work in Ireland. Besides, many people don't just use visas since there are often no boarder control between the (northern Ireland-Belfast) UK territory and the Republic Of Ireland.
So, don't assess your application based on her account, there are stringent regulations when it comes to applying for visa as a Nigerian residence.

I applied for a visiting visa with an invitation letter. I was meant to appear for the interview, i was given a date for interview when i submitted the application but  then i received a call from them about a month after after the submission, a month before the date i was given for the interview saying i should come for the visa and that i didnt need to come for interview. That was back in 2003 before the crazy strict conditions imposed these days. So i don't know what happens now.

I believe savings account is acceptable @ the embassy. Ensure you 've sufficient balancce in the account and more than enough documents to back up your source of incom e.g employment letter,Staff ID,promotion letter, confirmation letter e.tc Again, depending on the purpose of your travelling (visistation, study) send all documents. It is better to 've more than enough than not having sufficient documentation.

Above all Pray,Pray,Pray because sometimes those guys might jst loose a screw upstairs.
