I notice that people of different nationalities esp Americans (regardless of color) have different values for friendship and relationship and I'm wondering what your opinions are on this since quite a number of nairalanders live in foreign countries.
do you get along with immigrants than americans? if yes, why? if no, why not?

well im first generation american i have found out that my best friends are also first generation americans. i feel that there is a connection i have with them then people whose's ancestors were born here. and we all were brought up a way so we didnt have that "southern" accent most black people had say yeah we got teased for "acting white". but personally i feel first generation nigerian men view relationships different from the one's born in naija. i guess because they were exposed to a diversity of people. instead of basically seeing everyone the same.
