There is a New problem to solve,

My Laptop shut down on it own, this occurs when I have too much programs running at the same time.

I hear the fan blow with a high sound before the Laptop give up on me. It is very annoying especially when you are doing something that is timely.

It doesn't give any error message, no warning, just goes off like NEPA.

Please any Idea on what I can do. Huh

This from Onyegbula might also help

"go to your control panel=>performance & maintenance=>administrative tools=> double click on services and scroll down to rpc(remote procedure call) double click on it & select recovery on d 3 options where u'll fiind "restart computer" select "take no action"instead. on all 3 options."

Or check the fan and clean it if it has too much dust.

But do the fan first.
I made the mistake to reprogramm my own.
I had saved nothing and everything got lost for nothing.

the operating system is XP

mean while cleaning the fan will involve unscrewing the Laptop. maybe I should have even mentioned the make

It is a Toshiba satellite pro,

I only have a few pages up and listen to music with my messenger. I don't think that is much.

Thanks for the Ideas I will try them out and inform you if they work.

If u can open d laptop, bridge d CMOS(BIOS) batt to drain its effect on d board, disconnect d HDD, floppy drive & CD drive. then power it on while d batt is still bridged 4 like 1.5mins. then copple it back & go back to setup when it's abt booting & set all d necessary setings 4d laptop, save changes & alow it to boot. If dis prob still continue try to change d momory chip, clean d fan & apply some pears baby oil in d joint of d fan. while applying d oil be very careful & make sure it doesnt spill.

u have to be specific, what error message(s) do u get? does the machine power down immediately an installation is initialized or it brings up a BSOD ( Blue Screen Of Death), dumping physical memory , blah blah.

Hey, can I get som help please,  this is really important.
Often while I am online I get error messages which bring up a Blue Screen and says beginning dump of physical memmory. And after that it tells me that the dump had been completed.
How do I solve this problem ??
Can someone please help me with this, ?

yes i get it when i am online.
it just happens when i browse on the net.
suddenly i get the blue screen and it says:

STOP
(here is often a problem written, for example "NFTS_FILE_SYSTEM" or  "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" )  its not just these 2, there are lots of them,
and in the end it tells me:
beginning dump of physical memory.
dump completed.

so,do u understand what i mean ? i hope u do, cuz it is tooo much now

hmm. methinks wen u have such error messages in the blues screen of death  it means u have irq conflits somewhere, or intefering memory addresses. serious wahala there, fella. try booting booting in safe mode and do a system restore.

your notebook shuts down and restarts? sounds like brontok/rontokbro to me. im infected too by a new variant (brontok q) and is hell to completely disinfect. if u are sure its not hardware or other reasons causing the restarts just install brontok washer 1.5. google it, or check www.softpedia.com.

yo! jal,

the bottom line is VIRUS. try formating the system. When a virus infects a system, once activated, it attaches itself to other files and replicates itself thereby consuming memory space and jamming the system. your best bet since your system can't stay on is to reformat and carryout a clean install. and be carefull in the future.

Just a lot of other Techies have said, It can be anything ,  ranging from Virus attack, Registry issues, Fan related issues as well.

Observe and note what happens,  Its always best to know what happens before the system restart or shutdown.
