Credit Reference Company (CRC) is a private credit bureau established by a consortium of ten Nigerian banks and Dun & Bradstreet, a global credit information service provider. CRC will establish a credit bureau that will maintain records of the credit history of borrowers collected from various lending institutions and other public sources.
CRC currently requires qualified professionals to occupy the following positions:
1 Officer, Data Management and Data Quality (Ref.CRC/DM)Responsibilities • Ensure effective management and maintenance of data provided by members/data providers
• Perform data quality checks for all demographic, firmographic and credit data received from members/data providers
• Prepare and detailed reports on data quality issues and resolve in conjunction with members/data providers
• Develop and implement appropriate strategies for resolving data quality issues
• Resolve all data problems, in liaison with the Members/ Data Providers
Requirements • Minimum of a University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 4 years post graduate qualification with at least 2 years in data management position
2. Head, Sales & Marketing (Ref.CRC/SM)Responsibilities • Direct and coordinate the business development activities of the company
• Develop and implement market penetration strategies to achieve the company’s business objectives and goals
• Articulate and manage a compelling corporate brand that communicates the essence of the company and its unique value proposition
• Build an effective and efficient marketing unit
• Build and manage new customer relationships
• Develop distribution networks to ensure a wide reach for the company’s products and services
• Monitor unit performance against monthly/quarterly/annual growth objectives
Requirements • Minimum of a University degree in any relevant discipline
• Master's degree with a specialization in Marketing (relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with at least 8 years in Sales & Marketing within a specialist service organization having corporate customers and 5 years in senior management position
3. Officer, Operations (Ref.CRC/OO)Responsibilities • Direct and coordinate the business development activities of the company

4. Head, Operations (Ref.CRC/HO)Responsibilities • Provide strategic direction and guidance for the company’s operations
• Ensure efficient back office operations and operations support to front and middle office functions
• Ensure the company’s services and internal processes meet defined standards and quality
• Ensure that the operations process are aligned with the Business and IT requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements in line with the expectations of member/data providers
• Define Business Continuity Plan in co-ordination with IT Department
Requirements • Post Graduate with specialization in marketing or finance possessing at least 10 to 12 years of experience
• Must be highly process oriented, computer savvy and with a strong awareness of banking technologies and business processes; Additional formal qualifications/ training in Computer Science will be a significant advantage.
• Should possess credit bureau experience with extensive experience handling business operations in the banking/ financial services domain for at least 5 - 7 years. The candidate should be excellent in communication and leadership skills with a proven track record of being exceptionally customer- centric
5. Relationship Manager (Ref.CRC/RM)Responsibilities • Build and maintain relationships with bureau subscribers to ensure customer registration
• Identify and acquire new customers
• Execute customer relationship plans
• Ensure optimal customer service experience at every client interaction
• Make recommendations to the head, sales and marketing on customer needs and marketing strategies
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the delivery of services to Members/Data Providers
• Achieve revenue targets for product/service offerings
Introduce new service offerings to customers
Requirements • Minimum of a University degree in a numerate or semi numerate discipline
• Master's in Business Administration will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 6 years post qualification experience preferably in the banking/financial services sector
6. Internal Auditor (Ref.CRC/IA)Responsibilities Responsible for conducting periodic reviews of all bureau operations to provide independent assurance to management on the state of compliance with controls, policies and procedures including providing support to ensure a secure and sustainable control environment through effective risk management and compliance with the bureau’s operational risk procedures, board and government directives
Requirements The ideal candidate shall possess a good university degree and professional qualification with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience and with a strong background in auditing
