Proceeding On Uk Masters Without Nysc

Could someone in-house help clarify this.
Is it true that the British Embassy requires NYSC certificate to grant
student visa.
I just secured an offer in one scottish school, and presently serving.
But I intend to boycot service come Sept. and enrol in the school, but i learnt
British Embassy now denies student visa application based on non-completion
of compulsory nysc service.
Is this true? Undecided Undecided

You have to find out yourself.  It must be a new rule if it's true.  A friend travelled to Scotland for her MSc in 2005 even before she completed the two-week orientation programme.  Find out from the embassy.  Regards and best wishes.
