NIGERIAN MILITARY SELLING WEAPONS TO ARMED ROBBERS?

If the Nigerian military can sell weapon to the militant, to use in killing their fellow soldiers, what stop them from selling weapons to armed robbers, if the money is right? Some of the weapons sold to the militant were used in committing serious crime: kidnapping, murder, armed robbery.

the police have been complaining that the present  robbers are well armed with sophisticated weapons and their operation follows a military like precision. What stop a soldier from robbing a bank? pit against a corrupt and lightly armed Nigerian police, he has a great chance of getting away with.

Why is the investigation and trial of military officers/ others involved in selling weapons to militant conducted in secret?

Are some of our soldiers involve in bank robbery?
