Trying To Make Informed Decision On An 08 Accord.

 
Hello, I have read extensively on here for advice and info about cars in Nigeria.  First I'll like to say thanks to all contributors.

My question is I am trying to get a reliable car for my mom. From reading on here, the ideal one seems to be an 08 accord. I want the EXL because its nicely equipped. My main issue is with the 4cyl and the 6 cyl. What might I be looking to pay for one with under 5000 miles. What is the price difference between the two and is it worth it. I don't want to pay more for more hassle because I have heard that the V6 engine is harder to service. Does this translate to the 08 too?

The car will probably be purchased in lagos as its closer to Ilorin, its final destination.

Any input will be highly appreciated.
