The way he slashes to the paint and beats bigger guards leaving them for dead is what amazes me he is also one of the best stealers in the game all he needs is to perfect his 3 point shooting game if he can do that he would be unstoppable

His speed can be an asset and a fault. During a fast break, he can get down the court quick, but he hasn't acquired that natural form in him. So when he tries to make threes on a fast break, it usually doesnt go in. But if he can train himself to balance himself and train is body to that perfect form. . . . what wonders he can do.

Yeah he has time to learn. I guess he can't be like Kobe who came in the game with that natural form.

@onyinye
I think he can be better than Kobe that guy has the potential to be one of the greatest PG's in the history of the sport

Just like i told chiogo. . . . . no one can be like Kobe. Just like no one be like Micheal Jordan. Kobe is a born star. He just a natural leader and player. The plays he comes up with. . . . are just mind crunching. Kobe is always quit on his feet and wise of time. He understands his opponent and knows their ways. He is versatile and a true asset no matter what the game looks like. I have seen him bring his team from being 25 points down to 15 points ahead. Chris Paul is a wonderful player. He is smart and has that natural speed. But to say he can be better Kobe. . . . . is a stretch.

@onyinye
No one is comparing Paul to Kobe all i am saying is he has the potential to be one of the greatest ever he has outstanding maturity and looks like a player that can lead a franchise to rings i guess that is the one thing Kobe lacks but i respect Kobe for his athleticism i mean he is about the most agile player in the game they dont call him Mamba for nothing

BTW: Did you see the redeemed team clinch gold today?

I stayed up late to watch that Gold Match. I aint gonna lie. . . . i was little worried first half. I mean those spinless Argies were chunking threes like they don't care. I was just screaming at The Redeem Team. They were literally watching those Argies taking their time to set up their stance, get the right form and shoot. I was like "What the hell is this?". Then they brought in LeBrone and he just started chunking threes like no tomorrow. Then i guess the coach got hard on them during half time. Because they came back hungry and went on full beast mode. My favorite part was when the last few minutes the started playing "Born in the USA" It was a true show of how we took back what was rightfully ours. I was so proud and when they hopped up on that podium elbow to elbow, i was just over whelmed with pride. What a way to end a winning streak.

@onyinye
Did you mean the Spaniards? it was a nice game the Spaniards pushed to the limit but the US where just too strong D.Wade,Kobe and Howard stole the show for me Lebron was a monster too it was funny seeing Boozer and Redd coming towards the end though

BTW: I didnt know Gasol's brother also played ball

Yeah i meant the Spaniards. . . . i got we bit mixed up cause im watching the game on Tivo again. Hey his brother plays. . . . and i must admit it seemed like he played better. Unlike his Laker's brother, he didn't see the need to fall down like a spinless tree.

Well Pau is more skilled obviously maybe because of his time in the NBA his brother Marc is stronger though has more muscles he is joining the Grizzlies actually there is also one Fernandez guy thats joining the Blazers

« #43 on: August 24, 2008, 08:16 PM »

Yeah i heard about the dude who was joining the Blazers. At first i must admit i didn't see National Basketball player in him. Like i knew he was good but. . . was he good enough. But he surely did prove me wrong. Paul has the better skilll but Marc has the more power.

Jason is a real player. But why does he have to be with Dallas? I mean that is just talent wasted. Just like Dwight Howard being on Orlando.

Na uh, T-Mac is an asset on the Rockets. He needs to stay where he at. Jason Kidd on the other hand. . . . needs to be with a team that can compliment his talent.

Yeah he is an asset infact una dey kill im game.He has not been past the first round in about 6 seasons in H-Town that is why i suggest we trade T-Mac for Jason Kidd and lets see who will be better off between both of us!!
Compliment his talent my pitch black ass!! who doesnt know Jason Kidd is past his prime?

A T-Mac in Dallas = A Ring

A Jason Kidd at the Rockets = Draft Lottery  Tongue

Of course A 40 you would set up some conspiracy to take away from the Rockets win. Yes i must admit, it has been a while since we have seen the Championship game, but watch us snatch it this season and bring it back to its rightful home.

I mean it's one thing to turn against each other in Football but Basketball too. Y'all need to genuinely be happy for your teams. It's the state that matters.

James Posey for Hornets? Hmmmmm!
I still can't believe that they took Camby from Nuggets. That was supposed to be the only consolation after Iverson and Anthony's performance in the finals.

Has Camby left the Nuggets? because if he has then they are automatically not even guaranteed an 8th seed this season
