CBT online I hate religious arguments, it will get one no where, just like political argument. I had lots of religious arguments at university and i can compare it to two people arguing but with different languages. But just for the sake of it let me take you on some points.
Do you not know that the totality of our being is made for HIS GLORY
Now what do you mean the totality of our being is made for HIS GLORY? Are you saying you are made as a toy for God to play with? or God enjoy watching your actions like a movie.
God loves you so much. Take a look at that those in the hospital. They desire to be
in HIS Presence but they are bedfasted.
Are you saying that the reason people are bed fasted is because they are not worshiping God properly or because of our poor medical services coupled with the unsafe environment in which we live. |

and why do u feel funny when u don't go to church on sundays?
paul said that some of u believe that one day is holy and some of you believe that every day but as long as it is done to the lord. do not forsake the gathering didnt say that don't go to church on sunday.

Dear poster, if you have been going to church all your live like you claimed, and also a good christian, like you also claimed but suddenly you just turned to dislike going to the church, then I will remind you of the fact that perilous time are here, 2 tim 3:1-5 also 1 tim 4, when men will have all the reasons in the world to desist from the things of God. I agree with a lot of posters that most of the churches have lost her focus but it is not an excuse for anyone to stop going to church, The fact that churches are losing focus is the more reason why I, as a person seeks to serve God the more and even attend church the more, did you say why? because it confirms to me that the end times are here and that is why people, church inclusive are losing focus, Let me humbly give the following advice:
1. GET A LIVING CHURCH IF YOU FEEL GOD IS LEADING YOU AWAY FROM YOUR CHURCH
2. STAY BACK AND SHOW EXAMPLE TO BELIEVERS IF YOU FEEL GOD IS NOT LEADING YOU OUT OF YOUR CHURCH
3. don't GO TO CHURCH BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE GOING BUT RATHER GO BECAUSE SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGES IT
4. HOLD ON TO THE END, HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END SHALL BE CROWNED

everyone has focused on Sunday church. What about all the other services during the week? If people are saying Gamine needs deliverance for missing Sunday church, can we honestly say we attend all other weekly services faithfully and see them as equally important, because they are. i believe mid week bible study or night vigil is as important as sunday service.
this has been my point, we see sunday service as ' a place to show' almost as a ritual but forsake the gathering of the brethren on other days.
i say again that it is better to go to church than not to go, but we must not become legalistic, so my conclusion is to love God and all services of the week will be important to you.

It is the plan of Satan not to have anyone go to church to more about God. His strategy is to weaken your desire to want God each time Sunday comes. To shake this spell on you, you will need to constantly pray, study the Bible daily and meditate on what you study. By God's grace, you will be delivered from this chain Satan has placed you. I know this because, I have often find myself in the same situation. It is only as I daily pray, study God's word and meditate on it am I able to over come Satan's strong hands on me. I see nothing wrong in either not going to church or going to church.
The last time I checked, churches don't have a special box where they keep God and bring him out on Sunday. I see more of an issue if you can't feel or hear God/Spirit without going to church. Maybe sometimes people only feel at their spiritual height at church, because thats the only time they are deliberately open to it.
To be honest much of what goes on in churches has nothing whatsoever to do with God or spirituality. its more of a play on emotions than anything else IMO.
I feel it does help some people to just socialise and have a chat with others, but its something you can do any day of the week. People shouldn't really try to make it into what its not.

Incase you are still there, first check your spiritual life if it is in line with the Holy spirit; if it's not, 'then go for deliverance.
A normal christian with a clean spirit must always have the desire and strength to worship God, especially where two or more people are gathered.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but most people go to church to get something, good things like blessing, word of God, encouragement etc. But the there is more joy and fulfilment in giving than receiving (not talking money here).
why not join a group in church where you can be a blessing so you won't just be going to church just to get blessed but to b a blessing to someone. this worked for me. I felt more useful and needed.
